Mission:

Today was a day she was going to contribute to her village. Since Nana needed her food, that only meant that others needed feeding as well. She couldn't really have yet another meal in peace when knowing that the food supplies were probably running low by now. So, now she was heading out to the scorching desert in order to find various things that one can eat or make good food with. The young Shinobi patted the ninja pouch on her hip - she felt pretty confident that she'd be able to catch some wild prey in a fairly little amount of time. And to be more efficient with the catching, she started up with setting some traps. Some simple snares here and there for catching rabbits, some quickly dug out traps for other various small animals. Whilst digging and doing her own thing, Nana managed to find some edible roots which she placed in her bag. Another thing one could easily find in the desert were various cactuses - and Nana carefully wrapped those in a sweater before putting them in her bag as well. Then she started sneaking around, snooping out for some prey. The sky was clear - the beautiful pure blue color matching the one of her intense gaze as she searched around.

After a few minutes pf peering upwards she noticed a black shadow circling around in the sky. Just what I was waiting for. From the looks of it it was probably an eagle - and from the way it was circling around it seemed like the bird had found prey for itself. Perfect, I can get something out of this. In one shot hopefully. The young woman ran forward with a great deal of stealth as she kept her gaze on the eagle. She had to be careful not to startle the great hunter in the sky and ruin her chance of catching a prey for herself. Suddenly the large bird swooped down - approaching the ground at an alarming speed some good 20 meters in front of Nana. So fast! She in return picked up the pace and retrieved a kunai with practiced fingers from her ninja pouch. She saw the eagle almost crash into the ground, before it gracefully picked itself up just as easily as it had swooped down and started flapping its powerful wings with the prey in its massive and sharp claws. As Nana had thought, then the prey was a very pissed off viper. Whilst the two were busy with each other, the Chunin threw her projectile with a whoosh. She aimed just a little bit to the side of the eagle, which was enough to startle it into dropping the viper back onto the ground, before swiftly flying away. The aiming had not been so poor by a mistake, since Nana didn't have the heart for killing such a magnificent bird. She had only been waiting for it to show her some prey that she could steal from it.

The viper attempted to get away, but another kunai put an end to its life. She couldn't spare all the animals of the desert if she was going to be feeding her fellow villagers. Into the bag the limp corpse went with the other things she had already found. A good hour had passed already and the sun was high up on the sky and as strong as ever. Nana wiped at the sweat on her brow and wished she was back home already with a cold drink in her hand. Maybe some good sake or even beer. However, she still had some things to do here.  So she made do with some water and then with a heavy sigh she started moving yet again. After a half hour walk she found a slightly shaded place, and close to it a fig tree with a good amount of delicious looking figs. With a satisfied, small smile she picked the best figs she could find and placed them also in her bag. Only one of them managed to get into her mouth - and she did not feel the least bit guilty. Instead of going farther away from the village and search for more things, she headed back towards her traps. It was never a good idea to stray very far when it was this hot outside. She was almost disheartened though as the holes were empty, and so were two of the snares. However, in the last snare that she checked, was a fat and delicious rabbit that was swiftly added to the collection.

Happy with her day's catch, the Chunin returned home and put everything she had found and captured in the Food Shelter. She got some praise, which boosted her ego a little bit, before she went home and got her cold beer. All in all, it had been a good day.

Spoiler:

It felt like today's mission was a bit personal. A man peeping on women and assaulting them ... the mere thought made Nana's blood boil - and she was not usually the type to get riled up over things. It had been with a great deal of pleasure that she accepted this mission before she had headed towards the hot springs to have a word with the owner. And now, she found herself sitting around - hiding in a bush outside of the hot springs - and feeling almost like a pervert herself as she heard the splashing and giggling on the other side of the fence. Perhaps when she'd finish the mission she could have a bath herself. The thought was very tempting - but got interrupted abruptly when a shriek split the air. It was clearly the screaming of someone that was in trouble, so Nana wasted no time as she sprinted towards the source of the noise. Behind the establishment she saw a tall and medium built man wearing brown clothes bending over a woman who lay on the ground and clung to her towel. The fear on the woman's face was more than enough to make Nana furious as she yelled out:

"Stop right there, you damn piece of shit!"

Both the woman and the man froze before looking in her direction. Nana didn't waste time in order to check if the woman was okay, but rather kept on charging towards the man. He sputtered out a curse and dashed off at a pretty impressive speed. But the anger seemed to have given Nana wings as she kept chasing after him. For just a moment she lost sight of the peeping tom, but as she rounded a corner only her instincts saved her from being tripped over a wire that was strung tightly in her way. Oh, so we play dirty do we? She jumped over the wire and skidded across the earth whilst scanning the surroundings. Just as she thought she had lost him, she saw him in the distance - running as fast as the Devil himself was chasing him. And at the moment that wasn't very far off. Nana dug her feet into the ground and dashed forward while dipping her hand into her ninja pouch and taking some wire out of it. She made a loop as she kept running, before she started some 'fishing'. It was out of pure luck on the man's side that he managed to avoid being captured the first time. However, next attempt was more successful. With one foot caught in the wire - the man faceplanted and Nana really hoped he had eaten a lot of dirt in the process.

While sputtering and cursing, he got up on his knees just as Nana closed in on him. Instead of giving up, he seemed determined to fight for his freedom as he suddenly turned around with a small knife in his hand. The flash of steel sent Nana jumping backwards before a frown entered her beautiful face. Now that had just done it. Not only was he a sleaze of the worst kind - but he also dared sully a weapon! The angry woman grabbed two kunai from her ninja pouch and before the man could even blink, she was done throwing them almost at the same time. One dug through his pants on his inner thigh - causing a loud pig-ish squeal to emit from him. A second later, the other kunai went for his hand that held the knife - causing the pervert to yelp out and clutch at his wrist as the knife fell to the ground. Before giving him a chance to recover, Nana was already at his side and picking up the knife. She then proceeded to grab him by the collar of his shirt and giving him a brain rattling punch on the jaw.

"You will never," another punch followed, "ever", and another punch, "EVER peep on women or attack them again. Got it? And if you so much as touch a butter knife in the future, I will use it to castrate you with. Yeah?" She kept holding him by the collar and stared down into his now bruised and slightly bloodied face. "Y-yy-e-ess. I-I u-u-unders-stand. P-p-please..." Nana looked at him with disgust before dropping him to the ground. "Please what? Not to kill you? Don't worry, I'm not allowed. And I wouldn't even think about getting your rotten blood on my beautiful katana. Now get the fuck up and start walking." She kicked lightly at his legs, but kept the wire intact - just to prevent the idiot from trying to run away.

It took them a short moment to get to the officials where Nana handed him in. Nobody asked about the bruises on his face and Nana gave no explanation.

Spoiler:

At first nobody noticed the tall, blue haired woman as she pushed her way into the lobby of the Red Moon Hotel. She didn't smile, didn't talk, didn't seem to really look at anyone else except the young boy behind the desk. The intensity of her gaze caused him to fidget a little bit, before she was standing right in front of him. In a few short words she asked about who was the owner of the establishment - before waiting to meet that man himself. It wasn't long before the short, chubby and bald man came strutting into the lobby and greeted Nana eagerly. "I was simply about to give up! I don't know what to do about these people!" Nana nodded as she listened to him rant and rage for a few minutes, before she interrupted him. "How many and what do they look like?" He paused and twirled his big mustache around while thinking. "They are five all in all. The leader has a big, green mow-hawk and wears a black leather jacket. Next there are two women, both blonde and wear nothing but overly flashy clothes. I think they are both his girlfriends, but I could be mistaken. Then there is a rather large and bulky man with a red beard and lastly a small and thin man in his thirties with black hair and always wears sunglasses - even when inside."

"Are they here now?" The owner nodded with a grim expression on his face. "Yes, they are at the bar right now. I hope you will be able to get rid of them quickly and without raising too much fuzz. There are after all some respectable guests here as well." Nana gave him a half-shrug-half-nod, before she started walking in a leisurely manner towards the room that held the bar. The place wasn't overly crowded, but still enough people so that she had to maneuver her way towards the bar. Once there, she ordered sake - and then scanned her surroundings. Before she could spot anyone, her sake was served and she downed it before ordering again. Just then a hand was placed on the bar table next to her, causing the young woman to turn her head slightly and look up into the rugged but handsome face of a man with a green mow-hawk. His amber eyes lingered a bit on her generous bosom, before he looked into her face with obvious admiration.

"'aven't seen you around here b'fore. Name's Jin."

Nana looked him slowly over before looking away again, grabbing her sake and downing it. "Want to come to my room?" She actually heard him swallow as he stared at the woman in front of him like she had grown another head. "W-what?" "I asked," she poked a finger into his chest before looking up at him again from underneath her long lashes, "if you wanted to join me in my room for some fun." She didn't wait for an answer, but rather turned around and walked away - only managing to take about three steps before he was at her side with a huge smile on his face. A sturdy arm went around her small waist as they made their way out of the room. As she was being squeezed against the bigger male body, Nana wondered if she should actually feel awkward or something of the likes from being touched like that. Truth be told, she felt a bit bored if anything. They only just rounded the corner when suddenly an elbow went deep into the man's stomach, causing him to double over and meet with Nana's fist.

Instant KO.

He was swiftly tied up and shoved into a broom closet, before Nana went out hunting again. The same story repeated itself with the other two men - and truth be told the Chunin felt like this was almost going too well. Just as she had finished putting the last man into the broom closet, she heard female voices coming closer. "I'm telling you, I saw them leaving with the same chick! All of them!" "That's not possible, are you crazy?" The two bickered a little bit until they came into view and stopped - staring at Nana. The women were both blonde, wore a heavy layer of make up and Nana was pretty sure they clothes didn't cover more than a handkerchief would. "Looking for something?" She asked calmly as she fished out some more wire from her ninja pouch. There was no real time for the two females to respond, before Nana was done looping one end over their heads and around their waists and had them tied together. After she had secured them as well - she let the owner know.

Before leaving, all five of them were gagged and tied carefully - before escorted out by Nana in a simple row.

Spoiler:

"This is going to be a long night."

Nana along with a few others lower ranked Shinobi had been requested to help out at the main gate of the village after apparently everybody and their mother had gotten sick. Honestly, Nana wanted to ask just what it was that had gotten them sick so she could avoid it herself... But here she was, already at the gate and the time was just nearing 9 pm. So twelve more hours before the shift would be done. And she could already feel a mild headache approaching as she listened to two younger female Shinobi giggling and whispering. Without being very bitter and pessimistic - then Nana was sure it was she they were talking about. Not wanting to listen any longer, she moved to a lone place and leaned against a wall while keeping her gaze on the gate. What would she do if someone were to enter? Attack them head on or ask for their identity first? Both of these options had an up and a down. If she attacked first and asked later she might be attacking a friend of the village. But if she asked first then she could get sliced down before ever hearing an answer.

But it is highly unlikely that something exciting will happen tonight.

So she leaned her head slightly back against the wall and drew some food out of her pouch. A sandwich with some beef and mochi for dessert. Water to get it all properly down. Apparently she was not allowed to drink while on duty. And since she didn't want to seem like a very young alcoholic - then she didn't question that rule any further. It wasn't like she -needed- alcohol ... things were just more fun and easier with it around. After eating her late dinner, she glanced at the clock - groaning as she saw that only fifteen minutes had passed since she last checked the time. So that she wouldn't go crazy, the Chunin went through some simple practice moves with her katana and did random stretches. Next she did sit-ups, squats, ran a little in place. By then the time was already 10 pm.

She drew up a book she'd randomly taken from the bookshelves at home. "How to cook fish in 101 ways" was the title now that she looked closer at it. Another groan passed her lips as she started flipping through it. When she was reading the 30th way of cooking a fish - a cry of alarm sounded. Instantly the book was put down into her pocket again and she looked up to see what was going on. A lone person was arriving, nearing the gate at a rapid pace. Nana joined a few others at the gate and they waited patiently until the person was right upon them. It was an elderly man with a small carriage filled with dried fruits and roots. After making sure his papers and permits were fine, he was let through and Nana could go back to learning how to fry a cod with a sprinkle of lemons and salt. Two more times before the hour struck twelve there were  people at the gate - both times some other types of salesmen. After midnight there was literally nothing to do except sit around and gaze up at the stars or read. Nana did both for a few hours. She then stood up, stretched, walked around, ate - sat back down and kept waiting for the night to pass.

A shadow dashed around through the gate, making Nana jump a bit - but relax as she noticed it was only a stray cat which hoped to get a little bit of food from her. Of course she gave it a little bite before urging it to keep moving away. The rest of the night went without troubles - and in the morning at 9 am the other shift came to take over. Nana really hoped she'd never have to do anything as boring again in her life. But as a Shinobi - she feared she'd be called in for duty soon again.

PostSubject: Re: Missions [P]   Mon Sep 28, 2015 2:53 pm

Spoiler:

The apartment she was rummaging through smelled like old food and cat pee. Even if it had been deserted, then Nana was pretty sure it still would have smelled the same if the 'Weasel' was around. Just by going through his very random properties did she assume that. She wasn't sure just what she was supposed to find by going through this apartment. Pretty much everybody had already searched in hopes to find a clue as to where the Weasel had gone. Just as long as I don't find a dead body underneath the floor, then I'm alright. Her small nose was wrinkled in disgust as she used a pencil to pick up a sock which was draped over a book. What a damn mess. She had to hurry before somebody else would show up - someone like the Terrible Twins that she had been warned about a few times before the mission had even started. The Chunin wasn't sure she'd like to meet either one of them, and certainly did she not want to meet them together. She had not finished thinking that thought to the end before the door to the apartment was kicked open. Like one of the rats in there, Nana jumped in the air before scurrying around for a hiding place. It was out of the question that she would crawl underneath the bed - seeing as there were mountains of dead cockroaches under there. So instead, she dashed into a large closet and closed the door just as a person entered the bedroom. It wasn't a very tall man, but he carried himself very well. Even as she peered through a narrow slit on the closet door - did Nana see that he was trained. But for what?

"I know you're in here. I saw you entering the building."

Eh, crap.

With a sour expression, Nana opened the closet and slipped out. As they stood face to face, she noted that she was a little bit taller than this stranger. But that didn't seem to unnerve him - rather he just stood there leering while sizing her up with his dark eyes. "Shame I gotta off such a cutie." "Just who is going to off whom?" Her quick reply seemed to only amuse the man further as he reached onto his back and pulled out a large spiked iron club. Nana looked at the club, then at him, then again at the club. "Alright. Let us do this." They moved at the same time, both dashing to the side - the long club reached for Nana but crashed into a wall instead - and through it. Nana rolled on the floor before she shot up on her legs again and reached for her katana which was strapped onto her back. This guy was clearly strong and he was clearly not here to just have some fun. He was here with murder in mind. So they fought -hard-. He soon let the club go as he realized that Nana was too good at picking up just what he intended to do. Instead he fought with his fists - which he seemed much better at. His punches also managed to crash through walls and in an instant he managed to graze his right hand against Nana's arm - causing pain to shoot through her. If he hits me for real, I am not going to get up easily again. What was good, was how slow he was. Not that he was moving like a turtle, but Nana managed to outspeed him rather easily - and got quite a few cuts in each time she attacked. The cuts weren't deep, but enough to make him bleed. She even managed to get a cut above his right eye, the blood running down obscured his vision just enough so that he made a mistake here and there.

What was also helping Nana was the fact that she was much more lithe and nimble than he was. Fighting inside of the small apartment was clearly not sitting well with that mystery man. Just when they were done breaking everything that was to be broken in there, did Nana manage to slide her katana into his left shoulder and nail him against a wall. Just as quickly as that happened, she let go of the hilt and went into her ninja pouch. Onto her right hand she drew her gauntlet - before she punched with all her might. He defended with his other working hand, and almost managed to crush her hand before she pulled back. Not wanting him to be able to rip free from the katana, she attacked him again - and this time managed to crack his jaw with her punch. That dazed him enough so she could get in a few more punches and finally wrapped a wire tightly around him. The pain and punches had him now at her mercy, so she drew the katana out and let him fall to the floor.

"Are you one of the Terrible Twins?"

"Just wait until you meet my brother."

Well that answered her question, so she kicked his head hard enough to KO him. Just then did she allow herself to really breathe. This had been a tough situation and for a few minutes she had actually thought she would get herself killed. Or at least maimed. With that in mind, she searched on the man until she found a few notes - and on one of them an address. It wasn't one she was familiar with, but she pocketed the paper and hauled the unconscious man out of there. After handing him to the officials - she went to the address on the paper but found nothing of importance. Until she came out of the building. Then she stood face to face with a man that looked exactly like the one on the picture she'd gotten of the Weasel. He was small, skinny, shaggy looking. Exactly like she had pictured him in real life. And what was more important; he was tied up - and behind him was a mean looking man that had the same face as the one she had been fighting just minutes ago.

"Who are-"

Nana threw two kunai and then tackled down the Weasel before rolling away with him out of the reach of the man that had quickly ducked under the kunai. And then he dashed forward at an alarming speed. Way faster than Nana could hope to get. So she relied on her long bladed weapon once more - blocking out a knife thrown her way before she found herself busy with parrying blows and kicks that were rather impressive. But she did notice that while this twin was faster than the other, then he was not nearly as strong. And he was not even as strong as she was. Despite being punched around a little - Nana found she was starting to push the man back. Before she could start gloating however, she suddenly looked right into flames. A yelp of surprise emitted from her as she jumped to the side and crashed on the concrete street - bruising her leg badly whilst doing so. But thankfully she at least didn't have to cry over burn wounds. Feeling thoroughly pissed by now, she drew out a shuriken and tied an explosive tag around it before hurling it towards the man just as he was going to chase after the Weasel. As he defended against the shuriken, its explosion sent everything into chaos.

Nana used the opportunity and lunged at him, causing him to crash backwards with her straddling him. Before he could even think of what to do, she started punching him - sending his teeth rattling and blood spurting everywhere. Her hand hurt, but it gave her a great deal of satisfaction to have him now at her mercy. The young woman didn't stop until she was sure he was cold out - and then she stood up with a tired expression and a swollen right hand. She wasted little time, but tied him up and gagged him - before turning to the frightened Weasel.

"I'm here to retrieve you. Don't even think about trying to run away or I will rip your damn face off."

They both made it back without more trouble - and Nana had herself checked up. She got some good praise for apprehending both these men AND finding the target. So even if most of her body hurt, she still felt pretty damn good about herself.
