The Leaf meets the Sand Empty
PostSubject: The Leaf meets the Sand   The Leaf meets the Sand Icon_minitimeTue Sep 29, 2015 9:42 pm

They walked closer to the village, reaching the gates as Ryujin stopped exactly 10 meters from the damaged gates. It was now clear that the Bijuu had indeed attacked the other villages as he had previously expected, though Sunagakure seemed to have held its own in Ryujin's eyes as the only damage he could pick up with his immediate eye sight was that of the village gates. A few workers were still working on rebuilding the gates, with two guards standing at what seemed to be the opening into the village. He would speak up to them, exclaiming that he wanted to see the Kazekage. "Afternoon gentlemen. I'd like to request a private meeting with your new Kazekage, eh, your first Kazekage. If he asks who it is, you may say the request is from the Hokage." His Hokage cloak would have been a straight giveaway, though the sand shinobi probably don't even know what a Hokage cloak looks like as Ryujin was the first one to ever wear one of these cloaks, so he had to make it clear. His tone of voice was relaxed, showing no sign of him wanting to harm them though it sounded as if he was indeed telling the truth, which he was. The guard nodded in understanding. "Yes Lord Hokage." He would jump into the village as he made his way to the Kazekage's office to give word to the Kazekage of the Hokage's arrival, telling him exactly what Ryujin had told the guard. "I wonder what he looks like? Do you think he's as nice as me, Oboro-kun? What about you, Akira-kun?" Ryujin would ask his two students as they stood 5 meters apart from him still, Oboro to his right and Akira to his left. It wouldn't be long now before the Kazekage would come fetch the three of them, however Ryujin remained vigilant as he didn't know exactly what to expect. Would the Kazekage accept them without any hostility? The sand wasn't exactly known for their peaceful methods during the past 24 years of it's existence, but one could not associate each individual shinobi with the entire village's actions, he could indeed be as calm about the situation as Ryujin was, not wanting to pick a fight or even start a war, as a fight would indeed cause such a thing to happen. The entire time his sensory remained active as it did during their travel from the Land of Fire up until this point, a precaution Ryujin took upon himself in case of an attack happening from someone who wished for the Leaf and Sand to end up in an all out war.

The Leaf meets the Sand Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Leaf meets the Sand   The Leaf meets the Sand Icon_minitimeWed Sep 30, 2015 1:32 am

"It was time." The young ninja kept repeating those words over and over through his head. His mother was quite powerful and wise. It was through these powers that she kept in contact with the son she had lost. Using her mastery of the dark wind, she watched him grow and helped forge him into the ninja he had become. Training him with her genjutsu, whispering words into the wind to carry to his ears, and watching him mature into the weapon that she needed him to be from across the endless desert wasteland. Finally, she felt he was ready. The words came to him just after the attack on the village. While not one to be easily excited, Vaati could not help but feel anxious about the journey he was about to undertake.

Just a few days prior the village was nearly decimated. Much of the current political infrastructure was destroyed. Whole families that exended back generations, were instantly wiped from existance. Vaati's own master, The doctor known as Voltaire, also fell victim to the calamity. Vaati felt little for his late sensei, as he was just assigned to him shortly before the tournament that resulted in his downfall, however, as luck would have it, his new assignment was to the new kazekage. If this was given to him as a consolation for voltaire's death, because of his potential, or just because he wished to keep his eye on a potential future threat; it mattered not to Vaati. He was now closer to the sun. If he could just figure out how to harness that power without getting burned. He moved out from his small hovel, that he shared with another and into a building closer to HQ. It was smaller then his previous house but he no longer had a roommate. He was prepared for his journey, all he was waiting on was approval. The current situation had left allot of work on the new Kazekage's plate with all the current reconstruction and rebuilding the infastructure that was destroyed. He could spare no ninja, even his own student.

"It is time" he repeated once again in his mind as he stood outside the Kage's office. Guard duty, once again.... Time he could be spending doing something more worthwhile instead he was standing sentry. "What's the point of a guard here?" he wondered. No ninja would be dumb enough to attack the leader of a ninja village by walking through his front door. Window, maybe... besides, his orders were clear. No one was to enter. As much as he disliked his current situation, he needed to remain on his master's good side. Failure to please him would cause him much more trouble down the road, even if Horus-sama was asleep on the other side of the door instead of doing the paperwork he needed to do, like Vaati suspected.

It wasn't but a few moments later when the village guard had approached him demanding to enter the room, only to be stopped by a nine year old genin. "The kazekage wishes not to be interupted" he would say to the Jonin who would briefly explain the current circumstances to the small lavender child. Hokage. He had never heard that word before, but it only took him a moment to dissect the title and realize the fire shadow was the leader of the shinobi village of fire county, the village hidden in the leaves. Vaati nodded his understanding and preformed two handseals. Within the Kage's office behind him a sign would appear hovering in front of the Kazekage that only he would see, should he be in the room, with the words. "The hokage from Konohagakure has arrived at the village gates and requests a private meeting." After the word "meeting" was a small smiling anime face of Vaati, bobbing side to side. under the sign would be a small marker that could write back a message on the board, should the kage choose.  Vaati would look back at the guard. "Message given. Wait here and see if he gives a response. "

The Leaf meets the Sand Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Leaf meets the Sand   The Leaf meets the Sand Icon_minitimeThu Oct 01, 2015 3:28 pm

The newly appointed Kazekage sat in his office behind closed doors, flicking through paper work of all sorts. It was at times like these that the man wished he had an assistant to help him out with things. Nevertheless though, it was part of his duty, since the work of a kage can hardly be deemed glamorous at times. He still wanted to ensure he have a good account of himself during his tenure as Kazekage. The vagabond soon decided to take a break, while removing his Kazekage's head and placed it on his desk. The hat was placed in such a manner that it would face the Kazekage. His white and green Kazekage robes was also matching, since the man had to look the part. He was almost ready to put his barefoot up on the desk, lean back and relax. Maybe he would even doze off a little, with his window open, the fresh air blowing in. The Kazekage had his sensory abilities active, while still checking for any disturbances in the area. His first ever student was on duty outside his office. And at some point Horus will have to begin showing some interest in the youngster.

The young Genin was quite amusing to say the least, and Horus could remember how different his own time as a Genin was. In no time however the Kazekage sensed a fast approaching personnel, a guard by the looks of things. The man was in a hurry, only to be stopped in his tracks by the Genin on guard duty. A soft smile formed the vagabond's facial expression. A cheerful sigh was released, while the Kazekage overheard the exchange of words. In time he could sense the gathering of Chakra, most likely for a Jutsu, but it didn't come from the guard. It instead came from the young guard in the form of Vaati. "Interesting" the Kazekage thought as the sign created by the youngster appeared before him. The message was relayed to the Kazekage and it seemed to be one of importance. The thought of Konoha's Hokage coming all this way must mean he/she was there to investigate.

Horus decided to meet the Hokage, since after all it would be rude not to. With the marker presenting itself to the Kazekage, Horus decided to write his answer on the board. And the message to the Hokage read. "I will see the Hokage. Please escort him to my office, and allow no one else to enter during our meeting". The man instructed while sitting back in his chair before causing a small prick in his finger with a needle. A tiny drop of blood came from it which was wiped away, the end result being the dispelling of the Genjutsu. Horus in the mean time got up and cleared his desk a little, while preparing to meet the Hokage. The Kazekage had a quiet area in which to take the Hokage, where they could have a meeting in private.

All he had to do now was await the arrival of the Hokage. The Kazekage for now would look to be totally unarmed and in a relaxed mood. He had some ideas as to why the Hokage would visit Sunagakure at a time like this.

The Leaf meets the Sand Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Leaf meets the Sand   The Leaf meets the Sand Icon_minitimeThu Oct 01, 2015 4:13 pm

Vaati would recieve the message from the illusionary white board. Looking back to the guard he would relay new orders before dispelling the genjutsu from the office. "Wait here for me to return" The genin would reply. Trusting the Jonin to take up his guard duty in his brief absence. Dashing out the stairs, Vaati would take to the roof tops, wishing to avoid the busy streets. The return trip, however would require the slower route. Already the young ninja's mind was at work, formulating plans and counter-contingincies.

It was not long before he saw the familar cloak and hat of his master, however this one shown red with the Kanji of fire emblazoned on the brim contrary to Horus's green and white cloak and hat with the Wind kanji. Standing alongside the hokage were 2 other ninja, whom Vaati presumed were also of the leaf village, perhaps his bodyguards. Appearing in a kneeling position, Vaati would speak to the Hokage. "Welcome lord Hokage to Sunagakure. I am Vaati Kazekuro. " Vaati would arise after his introduction and would pause momentarily to allow the Hokage to respond before continuing, ". My master, the Kazekage, wishes for me to escort you to his office. Your bodyguards are welcome to accompany you, however, his orders are for the meeting to be only between you and he. If that is acceptable to you, I will cast a genjutsu around myself so that your presence is not further noticed. The village is on edge currently, and the appearance of foreign ninja walking the street might cause alarm. " Vaati would show the proper respect as needed. Failure to do so could cause quite a calamity, one that he would ultimately be responsible for. Should the Hokage agree, Vaati would preform 2 sets of handseals. He would cast a genjutsu around him in a 10 meter radius from him, As long as the three konoha visitors remained within that distance around him they would be invisible to others and the sound they made would be inaudible. The three from Konoha, however would remain unaffected by the technique and could still see each other and hear each other. The second set of handseals Vaati would preform would be set at a distance of 15 meters from him, and would cause the villagers to walk around and move out of their way, preventing anyone from accidentally walking into an invisible person by mistake.

The four would travel like this to Suna's HQ and up to the Kazekage's office at which time Vaati would dispel the genjutsu surrounding them. Vaati would then knock on his master's door before entering. "The lord Hokage, sir." he would say, as he held the door for the hokage. After he would enter, Vaati would shut the door behind him. Looking to the Jonin guard he would relieve him to return to the gate before resuming his sentry duty outside. Presumably with the Hokage's 2 bodyguards standing a few feet away from him.

ooc: Cast false surroundings technique with myself as the epicenter to make the hokage's group both invisible and inaudible to those looking in their direction. Cast Sly Mind Affect technique to cause people to walk around me and them instead of in a straight line. Due to the briefness of the illusion, no one should suspect the presence of genjutsu even if they are trained in the ninja arts consitering the current state of the village and the reconstruction going on.

The Leaf meets the Sand Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Leaf meets the Sand   The Leaf meets the Sand Icon_minitimeThu Oct 01, 2015 5:18 pm

(OOC: Post priority given to Ryujin and Horus. Ryan, Vaati and any who join will be given secondary priority)

It'd been a long walk for the bunch and a well of thirst gathered within the dry through of my host and I wondered why he forced himself to extreme lengths. At first I assumed that he'd only done so to prove his strength to the others around him, yet as of right now I was failing to supply said emotion to him. I wasn't sure what exactly was fueling him at the very moment but it felt dangerous towards my wellbeing. Some type of determination that I was unaware of. He showed no sign of weakness while walking, pushing each foot behind the other and avoiding water where one would normally take it in, yet holding it within the palm of his hand as if to show masochistic tendency to a severe degree. Strange. No one should ever desire to pain themselves in such a way, yet a neutral expression sat relaxed on his face as he walked alongside his master and love interest.

Occasionally Oboro would look towards her, Akira. Her outfit was imprinted into his mind. Shorts revealed her smooth legs and the sun bounced off her hair with such flattery. She looked stunning yet he resisted the urge to tell her so. She might notice his glances at her but he was arrogant enough to assume she would think naught of it. Eyelashes battered each time she blinked and it seemed like a large gust was swooping over him each time as well. Beauty in the eye of all beholders.

It wasn't too long until they were greeted by a guard who was standing at the gate. His master quickly let them know the parties purpose as well as requesting a parlay with the leader of this village which seemed similar to their own. They had ventured far for it and found it in haste, luckily. Perhaps they'd have been unable to survive for too long within the desert. The leader of our team seemed all too excited about meeting with an official from another village. Ryujin even asked if Oboro thought the kazekage would be as 'nice' as Ryujin himself. Instead of responding, Oboro only looked at the Hokage and touched the still apparent cut from below his eye, directly caused by the Senju himself. "A joy I'm sure." a monotone voice would speak on the matter.

After waiting for a few long moments for the gate guard to return, someone else returned instead. It was a young boy, easily a few years earlier than puberty. He'd come to deliver news of the leaders acceptance of their company within the village. This was either great news, or a trap. Upon the way it seemed as if they child had requested to cast a genjutsu around the bunch in order to disguise their presence within the village. After casting said jutsu, Oboro minded the effects of the mental redirection and mentally praised the child for having a prowess in the art at such a young age. "How good do you think I was as a boy?" he asked me from within our black room. I chuckled at him before responding. "I'm happy I have no memories of you before then. You were probably more of a brat then than you are now." He only nodded in agreement before returning.

As they arrived at headquarters, it had been requested of him to wait outside of the door for his master to return after meeting with the kazekage. This little boy was... The Doorkeeper? Odd. Perhaps he had great promise. Perhaps it was a job just to keep him busy. Maybe he was just the kazekages nephew. Either way, he knew some common genjutsu.

"Don't die in there." Oboro would say to his master as he'd take his leave from the party, leaving he and Akira alone with the nine year old. Oboro glanced at the beautiful woman beside him and shot a smile towards her. Lovely as always. He then looked back down to their village escort. "So, you dabble in the mental arts?" Each breath he took he could feel the tape that pasted the Grimoire to his chest expanding a retracting a bit.

The Leaf meets the Sand Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Leaf meets the Sand   The Leaf meets the Sand Icon_minitimeThu Oct 01, 2015 10:05 pm

They're wait was uneventful to say the least, a few moments of just standing there whilst they waited for the Kazekage to approach them. He'd turn his head towards Oboro and Akira a few times as they waited, almost each of these few times he'd catch Oboro looking at Akira-chan. "Testosterone filled boys." He's think to himself as silence filled the air, the only noises being heard were those of hammers slamming into the materials of the gate which was being rebuilt as well as the howling winds of the sand village. The young and ambitious Senju wasn't old though he wasn't one to chase after girls so easily such as Oboro-kun either, he'd rather be training to improve upon himself or the village which he so dearly loves than succumb to love, especially at a time like this with the Bijuu having attacked a mere few days ago and the appearance of the one who seemed to be the summoner of these beasts. "Maybe it's just me.. Hmm.." He'd think to himself once more as he processed the situation and his own choices. It wasn't long though before Oboro would make a witty comment, the monotone manner of his statement and gesture towards the cut Ryujin created on the young boy's face adding more to the boy's childishness. "You know, if you payed enough attention to your opponent instead of looking back at me your face wouldn't be as ugly as it is now." Quite a calm tone he used as he spoke up almost as if disregarding the boy's witty comment as nothing more than that, a witty comment, whilst his face remained reminiscent of his tone of voice, completely relaxed with no smile accompanying it. In his head though, he wanted to repay the comment with an even wittier comment from himself along with some insulted facial expressions but chose not to do so and instead wanted to act in a proper manner in front of the ones rebuilding the gates. It wasn't much longer before Vaati would make himself known before Ryujin as he kneeled down 2 meters before the Senju. "Now see Oboro-kun, this is respect. Nice to meet you Vaati-kun." By this time Ryujin just couldn't resist, he just had to, the smile on his face as he looked at Oboro clearly showing his joking intentions along with the word respect being heightened. "Yes you may, it'd be wise to avoid any conflict within the Kazekage's village when I'm here to see the Kazekage. Let's go Akira-chan, Oboro-kun." He'd speak up once more in reply to the young boy's request to hide their presence within the village.

The boy immediately performed two sets of handseals before they would start walking through the village. They went by unnoticed, just as the boy explained they would. "Impressive. This must be the Kazekage's student, either that or just some lackey, though the latter seems less plausible. Surely the Kazekage wouldn't send a lackey to escort the Hokage, would he?" Ryujin thought to himself again as they continue through the village, his head turning to his sides as his eyes tracked those passing by them, walking in circles around the invisible group, as if they had no idea they were even walking in an avoiding manner in the first place. "So Vaati-kun, are you the Kazekage's student?" These two beside me are my students- He'd start to make some small-talk however his sentence interrupted as he noticed calling Akira-chan his student. She was indeed not (yet) his student, however the long trip must have confused him for a moment as he thought of her to be his second student. "Why did I just say that.. I mean I know she doesn't have a sensei, but I never asked her to be my student. Now that I think about it, since I am officially Oboro-kun's sensei, and the norm for a sensei is to have three students, I guess I should be looking for a second student. Let's see, she did just become a Special Jounin alongside Oboro-kun, and the two of them seem to have some kind of connection. I guess I can decide on her joining the team after this meeting." He'd think to himself, considering the fact that he could ask her to become his student if she'll have him, just as he did with Oboro.

They finally reached the Kazekage building, it stood tall and proud as the center of the sand village, just as Ryujin's office stood as the epicenter of Konoha. Vaati would lead the way towards the Kazekage's office, where they'd eventually stop by a door with the guard Ryujin had previously sent to request a meeting with the Kazekage standing guard by the door he was supposed to enter. Moments later Vaati would knock on the door, wasting no time. He clearly knew the Kazekage and wasn't a stranger at all as he simply knocked and opened the door for Ryujin. "Thank you, Vaati-kun. Oboro-kun, Akira-chan, wait here with Vaati-kun whilst I speak with the Kazekage." He'd stand outside the Kazekage's office, not visible yet as he stood behind the wall with the doorway being three feet in front of him if he would walk those three feet and turn to his left. Oboro gave a few words to him before he entered, to which he'd reply of course. "So you do care?" A soft smile on his face as he looked at Oboro, before facing his front and walking towards the doorway, clearing those three feet with lesser steps before making a curve to his left, facing the Kazekage. He wasn't a soldier, this curve would be smooth and not at all a straight walk turned stop turned left turn, no, his body was relaxed and so was he. "Good afternoon, Kazekage." Ryujin would say as he greeted the man with a nice smile. The smile wasn't overdone nor small, it remained reminiscent of his mildly relaxed body language. He was sure not to be too stiff but stood with respect before the Kazekage. "My name is Ryujin, I hail from the Senju clan. It might come as no surprise to you that one of the Senju ended up being the Hokage, as I'm sure it will come to no surprise to either of us if we find out whether an Uchiha is the Mizukage, which I'm mostly sure of as the rumors have spread. Though I know little about you, no offense intended, if anything you should take pride in being so covert about your position as the Kazekage. There are people out there who wish to harm the four Kages, one of the reasons I chose to do this in private." His sentence finishing as he closed the door behind him. He'd move closer to the Kazekage, before requesting a seat. As usual, his sensory abilities remained active the entire time, as did the Kazekage's.

The Leaf meets the Sand Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Leaf meets the Sand   The Leaf meets the Sand Icon_minitimeThu Oct 01, 2015 11:10 pm

Just as she had presumed, black clothes and the beating sun were not a great mixture at all. It had become quite warm within just a few minutes. However, the blonde attempted to show no sighs of weakness. Although, she did give a small annoyed sigh every once in a while and look up into the sky. It was almost enough to keep her from noticing her companions but she didn't have the time for being selfish. They were in a new land to her and she was slightly paranoid at the fact. The girl had no idea how these people acted or how they differed. She had no idea how they would feel about the Hokage and being a shinobi of the village Akira had to make sure her Kage was safe. Then again, this was all quite exciting for the research side of her.

As the trio came upon the gates, the Hokage asked to speak to the Kazekage. Of course, this was nothing new to the girl considering their village seemed to have the same gate system. So far, the girl hadn't seen anything new, which was quite upsetting. What was she to do then? She couldn't research something that wasn't new. What a shame. The blonde girl would sigh as the shinobi went to receive the Kazekage or send a message. She didn't exactly know what they did but she didn't really care. That part didnt interest her. However, she noticed something else that would.

Blue eyes had caught sight of something from their corners. It was him, of course. He had been glancing at her and as she continued to watch, she would notice he did a few more times. How funny. She wondered why he didn't say anything. Was he being shy? Was he being arrogant? Was he just simply wanting to look at her? She had no idea. It could have also been something more negative but she would rather not think about such things. Eventually, the girl would smirk and turn her attention back to the shinobi of this village.

This boy. He was so young. He looked so small and adorable. Akira couldn't help but state for a moment. She wanted to pinch his little face much like an old lady would do to her grandchildren. However since they were on an important mission, Akira would refrain from causing any sort of problems. Who knew how this child would react? The girl did notice how polite he was though, which was something Oboro and the Hokage were not being exactly. Then again, they could just be "kidding around", a concept Akira understood but didn't quite use much. She didn't exactly have friends. It seemed that the Hokage would introduce the two but he he said something that stumped Akira. She wasn't his student. She wasn't worthy to be anyone's student. Akira was weak and disgraceful. Perhaps it was a simple mistake, they had been traveling together after all. That's what it had to be.. a mistake. Nobody would ever want her as a student. Besides, she was already a Special Jounin.

After a while of speaking to this new shinobi, the trio was escorted to the Kazekage's building. Their means of transportation had interested her. Somehow, the child had managed to mask their presence and keep them from being detected. It was quite intriguing considering Akira wasn't all that familiar with genjutsu. Her focus was more on the fun things. Medical Nijutsu and Bukijutsu. Yes, cutting and slicing. Then, healing and causing all sorts of internal damage. Something about it just drew her in. She couldn't quite understand what though. Anyway, soon the group would make it to the Kazakage's office.

Akira would blink as the two were ordered to stay outside with this.. Vaati.. child. Blue eyes would look from Vaati to the Kage. Why must she stay with this child? She had been so excited to research the Kazekage. Now she as left to.. babysit or something.
At least Oboro was still around. Blue eyes would look at Oboro, who happened to shoot her a smile. That ruled out the negativity she could have felt earlier. The blonde couldn't help but smile back and then turn towards the boy. She would of course begin listening to their conversation. If she couldn't research the Kazekage, then she would research Oboro. He always had something interesting to say or do. Maybe she would find some interest in Vaati as well.

Vaati stood outside the door, his face quite emotionless as the older nin attempted to make small talk. "So, you dabble in the mental arts?" the nin inquired. The sudden question caused Vaati to instinctively go on the defensive. Why was he asking this, was there an ulterior motive? He could be trying to gain intel on a potential enemy. Did that mean that they were planning to become suna's enemies the whole time if Oboro saw Vaati in that light? Then again, could they have known what was deep within his heart? They did come from outside the village, an alliance with his clan and these strangers was not outside the realm of possibility. Perhaps instead this entire scenario was being created for his benefit, using outside mercenaries to spy on him. Vaati was aware of the looks Oboro shot to the kunoichi named Akira. Having to maintain the genjutsu, he was quite aware of the silhouettes he was hiding and the shapes they took. Were those looks meant to be silent signals? The Kunoichi didn't appear to acknowledge them if they were, but they also might not require acknowledgement.

While contemplating this Vaati had remained silent allowing at least 5 seconds to pass before answering Oboro. "And you dabble in gathering intelligence." he stated neither affirming or denying the elder nin's statement, however, considering the genjutsu he had already displayed, all three had already known the answer. Vaati's observation was stated both as a misdirect them off of the topic of his abilities and onto Oboro's as well as a way to limit the intel they could gather about him, or the village. His current objectives were two fold, prevent entry into the Kage's office, and keep an eye on the two foreigners, even if their eyes were focused more on each other then him. The small expressions of their face gave him one of the answers he was looking for earlier. Interesting, he would think to himself. knowledge of that sort of attachment was dangerous intel in an enemies hands. However, the strength of such a bond seemed to be only one way, while Oboro skin turned a slight shade darker indicating increased blood flow and the vein on his neck also throbbed slightly faster for a moment, Akira's stayed the same. Either she did not know, or did not care.

Vaati would make no sign of his observation. This could be valuable intel, should the village require some leverage. Or, he thought, if he needed the leverage. His thoughts turned back to his clan's home for a moment, remembering that he still needed to receive the Kage's blessing before leaving. If the meeting behind him went bad, perhaps this intel could be used to gain that blessing. He could only hope.

The Leaf meets the Sand Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Leaf meets the Sand   The Leaf meets the Sand Icon_minitimeFri Oct 02, 2015 2:11 pm

The young Genin was put to task and his mission was to escort the Hokage to his office for a meeting. Horus was confident that the youngster could get the job done, while allowing the Kazekage to ponder a few things. The hidden sand village was recently attacked, and Horus found himself in an unusual position. He was the first Kazekage, and there was a multitude of things that he needed to learn. Horus also needed to put things into motion so that the village may prosper in the long run. He needed to demonstrate to the people of the hidden sand that he was worthy of being their Kazekage. Never in his wildest dreams did he imagine himself to be the Kazekage. And ever since he took over the position, he wondered if he was the right person for it. But with each passing day, he was growing more and more confident, and had also solidified his conviction. The vagabond needed to get this right, since he wouldn't be afforded a second chance at all. This was the ultimate challenge for him, since he was now Sunagakure's champion. He was the people's representative and caretaker to say the least. Never before did he have to put the needs of others before his own. He was now in a position where he had to shoulder the burden placed on his shoulders by the village. As anyone would expect, Horus was relishing the thought of doing so, and who knows he may well begin to care more and more.

There he was standing up in his office, facing his window that was currently open. The window large enough for him to survey a vast area and keep tabs on things. Birds native to the village flew about the skies. These birds both of a wild and domesticated nature. The skies were also clear, and winds of Sunagakure embraced the village in its bosom. The Kazekage appeared deep in thought, while being able to remain alert to possible dangers. The young Genin had gone to fetch the Hokage for a little while now, and Horus was hoping that the trip would be incident free. Maybe the youngster, Vaati would show some degree of intelligence and not say or do too much. After all, those from other villages are indeed outsiders, and can often be wolves in sheep clothing. A fox in the hen house, or a slimed rat evading a trap. With that said, it wasn't long before the youngster presence was felt once again. The sensory skills of the Kazekage going to work, having sensed three others, outsiders as it turned out to be. Horus applauded the young Genin internally, as the knock on the door announced their presence. The door was then opened almost immediately afterwards, which Horus did not mind at all.

His ears remained keen to the conversation being held between the group outside his office. Thus far he heard two names not of the hidden sand. It was Akira and Oboro, before the Hokage finally decided to walk into the office. "Ohaiyo, Hokage dono". Horus responded sharply to the Hokage with a smile that mirrored the Hokage's own. The Kazekage seemed relaxed where he stood, a good four meters away from the Hokage. What came after that in terms of words spoken was a mouthful. Horus unknowingly raised his right eyebrow and blinked twice during Ryujin's introduction. The Hokage seemed the talkative sort, prompting Horus to release a friendly chuckle. The man hails from the Senju clan, and even more importantly. He had given Horus some indication as to what clan the Mizukage hailed from. "Haha that was quite a mouthful, Ryujin dono. But it is also an honor to have made your acquaintance. Unlike you, I don't hail from a prestigious clan like the Senju or Uchiha. I am but a mere vagabond among men and then call me Horus. With that said though, I suppose I should accept your praise, besides I do like to remain below the radar". The Kazekage stated with the door now closed so that both of them could converse a little while. "The Uchiha and Senju, enemies for a thousand years, that is how I remember them".

Horus watched as the Hokage moved in closer, now standing two meters away from the vagabond. On this occasion however, man decided to decline the Hokage's request for a seat. The Kazekage went and picked up his Kage hat and placed it on his head. "Forgive me, I know its rude not to grant your guest a seat. But I would prefer it if you would accompany me on a walk. At least then we can talk while knowing its far from prying ears". Horus then stepped away from his position and opened another door leading elsewhere. The Kazekage stepped through it and found himself standing in the great halls. Here they could talk without worry about people overhearing. The council members was out and far too busy dealing with tasks given onto them by the Kazekage himself. Horus would wait for Ryujin to step into the hallway before closing the door and proceeding down the hall. The vagabond would make sure to keep pace with the Hokage, walking a distance of two and a half meters apart from him. "Ryujin dono, might I ask your reasons for turning up here?". Horus asked while glancing over at the Hokage. All the while Horus kept a normal pace, showing himself not to be in any rush. His barefoot could feel the ground of the hallways, and it felt good to him. His thoughts then drifted on the subject of the Uchiha and the Senju, wondering what were the Hokage's feelings on such a things.

PostSubject: Re: The Leaf meets the Sand   The Leaf meets the Sand Icon_minitimeFri Oct 02, 2015 6:52 pm

(OOC: Vaati please do not godmod me. I never stated a spike in my characters blood flow to cause flushed tone or increased circulation.)

As Ryujin entered the office, Akira, the child and he were left in the card of no one. Assuming this child was legitimately the student of the leader of this place, that meant that everyone within this place was some sort of an underling. How pitiful. At the same time however, this child had shown some aptitude for something that indeed interested the mind of the brown haired bastard. He made sure to keep eye contact with the child whenever the preteen allowed. My host was quite the clever one. Generally when facing someone who has shown some mastery over the art similar to his own, he declines to show weakness towards it to prove his superiority. After all, this is simply a pride that I fed to him for many years now, one that's grown much larger than myself. However, this pride was abundantly coated in intelligence. Oboro was never to stand too close to anyone he was yet to trust and this young boy was included in that lot. While most children seem innocent at that age, Oboro himself was likely slaying others and thus had no tolerance to trust anyone purely on accounts of age. Due to this, he stood exactly twelve meters away from the boy who guarded the door. Akira was standing closer to him, one meter in the opposite direction. Close enough to touch.

Before Ryujin had entered, he responded to the comment given by Oboro. He'd simply requested that the older of the two not die. A delicate smile was coupled with what seemed to be a heartfelt statement full of sentiment. "Do you think he knows you were just being satirical?" I asked Oboro from within his mind. He said nothing back but I knew he thought it was a bit amusing at least in the slightest sense.

When probing the boundaries of the boy's use of genjutsu, Oboros question was brushed off with an emotionless statement regarding what seemed to be some sort of espionage. One could only hope that it was intended to be a joke but based on the expressionless installation within the flesh of the lad, signs pointed to it not being whimsical to him. This made it all the more amusing to me. Despite filling my host with a small amount of resentment, it was quickly overrided by a minor bump in respect. "You don't despise him for being so flat with you?" I'd ask my host. He'd only trace the outside of the boys eyes with his own as if attempting to persuade him to activate a genjutsu that requires eye contact, the strongest kind. "Vaati..." Oboro would say to me within the recesses of our shared mind. "That was what he said his name was, wasn't it?" A sound to signal that I agree came from my nonexistent throat. "He reminds me of myself." he would think to me, giving no indication in change on the outside of the mind. "Arrogant?"I asked with a chuckle. He did not respond.

There was a click from within the office of the Kazekage which caused for suspicion from the host of a demon. Quickly he activated his sensory to see what what happening. Nothing seemed to be going on, however they were simply leaving the office and making their way into some other part of the building. This was fine. However, Oboro wasn't a guard. This wasn't an opportunity for him to stand around and wait for the Hokage to return. This was meant to be an opportunity for him to meet the Kazekage, however this chance had been stripped of him by request of the Sand leader himself. Oh well. He turned his back on the boy and walked past Akira. There was no point in him waiting around for Ryujin to get back. If he wanted to find us, he could. He left it up to Akira to follow or stay.

The Leaf meets the Sand Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Leaf meets the Sand   The Leaf meets the Sand Icon_minitimeSat Oct 03, 2015 7:15 am

"The honor is all mine, Horus-sama" He would say in reply as the vagabond greeted Ryujin, his Senju heritage making itself known as his modesty and respect showed itself. However there was a small bit of confusion about the Kazekage being a vagabond. "A vagabond as the Kazekage, strange indeed. How did someone who is without a home, traveling from one village to the other, become the leader of a single Major Village? The sand are indeed a strange people, the leaf hold their higher ranking shinobi and council to high expectations, with the addition of myself as the first Hokage. Whilst the sand appointed Horus, who considers himself to be without a home, to lead their own home." A deep thought ran through his head as the Kazekage introduced himself. Ryujin meant no disrespect to it which was why he didn't voice his opinion, however the thought would cross his mind purely because of what type of person Ryujin himself was. He considers everyone in the leaf to be his family, with the village as his home. He would defend that home until his death, he proved this against the two Bijuu that had attacked the leaf village a few days ago, which was wh he got elected as the Hokage. He wouldn't trust someone from outside his home or one who is almost never around, to lead his home.

However the thought wouldn't linger for long as he would continue to listen as Horus spoke. "We are indeed the most popular enemies, known for our years of feuds and blood spilled across the five lands. However we are no longer in those warring times, they ended the day my father and family created the Hidden Leaf Village." Again he would go into thought as he spoke up about the Uchiha, thinking about his personal dislike and pure disgust for the Uchiha clan. They held themselves to be on par with the Senju clan, though they were wrong in Ryujin's eyes, very wrong. "They've killed countless Senju during battle, whilst we've killed countless of theirs. Yet, when the warring ages ended between the clans, the Uchiha's hateful customs still drove them to try and destroy the leaf, my home. Not to mention they tried to have me assassinated as an infant, again as a child." Another one of his thoughts about the Uchiha, the thought about why he despises them. His eyebrows would raise and arch closer together as Horus denied him the seat, wondering why Horus had denied him a seat.

"Sure thing, I'd prefer it if what I'm here to discuss with you would remain a secret." He said as he followed Horus into the hallways. Once he entered the hallway he would note the size of the hallway. It was indeed a big hallway, having four meters of space from the wall which stood sturdy on Ryujin's left, to the wall standing sturdy on his right. The distance between the floors and ceiling was double that of the distance between the two side walls. Ryujin kept a comfortable distance to which Horus seemed to comply as he kept the pace alongside Ryujin, being two and a half meters apart from each other. The Senju was in no rush as he walked alongside Horus calmly through the hallway. "Of course. Now that we're alone, I'm sure we can drop the formalities? We're both capable men and shinobi, probably on par with each other otherwise neither of us would've gotten the positions we hold today, yes? I'd prefer a first name basis with someone on the same level of skill as myself. We've both shown respect already, and don't get me wrong it wasn't for show, I do respect you. I'm sure the sand elected you Kazekage for a good reason, which is why you have my respect, not because you're the Kazekage, but because you're a vagabond which got elected Kazekage. If a vagabond had enough skill to be handed a home, no, to be given the position of leading a large amount of shinobi's home, then you clearly earned my respect." He got straight to the point, he told Gen this before too. He never thought of equals needing to show respect to each other, even though respect was what he grew up with, having respect for each other and showing it through the use of a suffix such as sama.

"So Horus, I am indeed here for an important matter. I noticed your gates are damaged and in the works of being repaired. A few days ago two Bijuu attacked my village, the Gobi and Rokubi. It was on the day of the grand tournament, and I suspect the Bijuu might have attacked each of the four remaining villages. It I after all the tournament which the Bijuu first attacked after we discovered this Jinchuriki. I fear they wanted to destroy us, the shinobi of this world, by attacking each of us on the same day." His tone become serious as did his face as he walked through the hallway, the exit still quite a distance away. His hands were held together in front of his lower abdomen, relaxed and hooked together with his cloak covering his hands. He would give Horus a chance to speak up on the Bijuu matter, before continuing to speak. "So I came here, and aim to visit the other two villages as well, in order to arrange a summit of the four Kages. We can further discuss the Bijuu matter at the Kage summit, as well as other important things as the four shadows gather." His sensory would continue to remain active as did his focus stay on the surrounding chakra signatures, he would notice that Oboro's chakra signature began to move from the position he stood in when they entered, moving towards the exit of the Kazekage office. "Where the hell are you going Oboro-kun." He would think to himself as Oboro started his way towards the exit of the building.

The Leaf meets the Sand Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Leaf meets the Sand   The Leaf meets the Sand Icon_minitimeSat Oct 03, 2015 10:43 am

The village was still very much in repair and Sabure had appointed himself to the task of seeing it done. After the Bijuu attack, Sabure had sort of developed a more take charge attitude, being that evacuation was such a task and the village overall was simply unprepared. Sabure wanted to make it a point that Sunagakure never get caught with its pants down again. Thus his desire to ensure repairs went smoothly. Not a very hard job, but tedious all the same. It was actually his efforts that earned him the promotion to Chunin. A proud moment for the young Hyuuga to say the least.

As he tended to his duties, word began to spread that the Hokage had arrived in Sunagakure with two other companions. Sabure took immediate interest, wondering why the Hokage had come. After delegating his command to one of the other shinobi, assuring his return after he checked out the Hokage, Sabure dashed off. Where to go was easy to determine since Sabure doubted the Hokage came for the sandwiches. Leaping from rooftop to rooftop, the eager young Hyuuga approached where the Kazekage tended to his duties.

Sabure arrived in time to witness the travelers enter the Kazekage's Headquarters and he immediately leaped to ground as to follow them inside. "Halt, Hyuuga," one of the guards stated, "The Kazekage is busy dealing with foreign dignitaries right now. Come back later." Sabure only offered an astonished expression as he looked at the guard, "As I see. Perhaps when I come later I will inform the Kazekage about his guards sneaking off to brothel while on duty," Sabure said plainly as he walked passed the guard. "Blackmail now, Hyuuga," the man chuckled. Sabure gave the man a pat on the shoulder and smirked. Having done guard duty himself, Sabure had a similar friendship with all the guards. The hassling and blackmail were jokes after all, "Don't work to hard, my friend," Sabure stated without turning around.

Leaving behind his little distraction at the entrance, Sabure made his way up to where the Kazekage's office was. His attire was fairly simple being that he had just left from helping with repairs. With nothing but a perfectly fit white tucked in muscle shirt and black jogging pants, the long single braided black-haired Hyuuga looked as if he stepped out of a martial arts movie. Though not completely covered in dirt, one could tell the young man had just left training or work.

As he made his way, Sabure's byakugan would activate so he could see if the arrivals were already inside the office. Two could be spotted in the office, but no sooner had he spotted them did the two exit the office. This left only 3 just outside the office. That was when he noticed the flair if chakra coming from one of the visitors outside the office. It was a harmless jutsu, but Sabure would need to correct this individual all the same. He kept his byakugan active so that he would not lose track of the individual.

Upon reaching his destination, byakugan deactivating simultaneously, Sabure spotted the three others standing outside the office. One he knew as his comrade, Vaati, the other young man was likely one of the companions. The last individual, however, immediately brought smile to the Hyuuga's face. There were only a few people in his life that he would kill for outside of his family, Akira was one of them. It was always during his father's trips to Konoha did Sabure ever encounter his old friend. After his father was locked up for treason, Sabure had ultimately lost contact with Akira. Though she was two years his senior, he always saw her as more of a younger sister if anything.

"It seems they will let anybody be shinobi these days," Sabure said to make his presence known if it hadn't been already, "Welcome to Sunagkure, Akira, I see your still babysitting." His moonlike eyes shifted to the other visitor who was attempting to leave. Sabure waited until the man was close enough for him whisper so the others wouldn't hear, "I'd advise against jutsu being used within the Kazekage's home. You wouldn't want us to get the wrong idea about your visit, would you," Sabure asked rhetorically with a smile, "Of course not."

"Akira, you should let me show you around Suna. The oasis is clear around this time of day. We got a lot to catch up on," Sabure said as he approached his old friend, "I'm sure my mother would want to see you as well. I'm sure Vaati will keep your companion company." By the time he finished his statement Sabure would be only a few feet away from Akira, waiting for her reply.

The Leaf meets the Sand Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Leaf meets the Sand   The Leaf meets the Sand Icon_minitimeSat Oct 03, 2015 2:00 pm

Blue eyes watched the interactions between the two shinobi. The small child and Oboro seemed to be rather skeptical about one another. It was slightly amusing and slightly boring all the same. She wanted to know what they were thinking, since for the longest time they were silent. Akira wasn't really much of a talker around new faces or in New places. So, she kept her mouth closed and simply looked around.

After a while, Oboro seemed to wish to take his leave. She couldn't tell by the way he walked towards the exit. Then again, she could never tell exactly what he was going to do. The girl would be about to follow him because being alone with this boy would have been highly awkward. However, a familiar voice reached her ears. This voice would make blue eyes snap in the very direction it had come from. Then, she saw him. He was that boy that had spoken to her when he visited her village. He was that one person that spoke to him. At the time, she had taken up the idea of acting like a sweet child. She had taken the liberty of making him her number one test subject. She wanted to research his personality and his habits. Eventually, they would become friends. However with all good things, come a bad ending. He stopped visiting.

Akira was angry. She never wanted to talk to anyone after that. She felt she had been abandoned. She thought he might have actually been her friend. Of course, she was also angry she had lost an interesting person to research. She couldn't stand it being incomplete. The thought of it angered her. Blue eyes were now grey. "Who the hell do you think you are? Disappearing.. then wanting to 'catch up'... You.." Akira looked at him with angry eyes but would turn her head away not finishing her sentence. Grey eyes now stared at Oboro's back. She would take a step in his direction but then stop. Confusion ran around her mind. All these decisions and words she disnt know how to handle. It seemed as if she would almost begin to panic but she also seemed to be trying to suppress it. What would she do? How would this go?

The Leaf meets the Sand Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Leaf meets the Sand   The Leaf meets the Sand Icon_minitimeSat Oct 03, 2015 5:38 pm

"Hax!!! Is he a mind reader? Did he just read my mind? How did he know I was thinking about the Senju's relationship with the Uchiha?". The vagabond thought to himself, now even more curious about the Hokage. Horus on the other hand didn't show any signs of unease and instead proceeded as intended. The vagabond could sense a great deal of pride from the Senju. His family established the hidden leaf village right? That means he will not only feel obligated to be the Hokage. But it must be like a birthright to Ryujin, and that is what separate the Hokage and Kazekage from each other. Like the vagabond explained, he wasn't born into a prestigious family. This meant he laid no claim to anything, and more importantly, he wasn't blessed with a brilliant bloodline limit such as the one the Senju possesses. Horus can only assume that Ryujin was able to utilize the Mokuton style. And should he be able to use it, then no doubt he is a more formidable person. And when dealing with the subject of inheritance and family of prestige. It was because Horus had none of this that he could truly come to appreciate his current position. The people of Sunagakure was now his own family, which is why he will always do what he can to protect them.

Horus was curious indeed Ryujin, but he wasn't about to become malicious towards the man. If anything, he would instead keep an eye on Ryujin from the shadows. "But of course" was the vagabonds response to the Hokage wanting to talk in private. They entered the grand hallways as planned and proceeded down their intended path as described. The Hokage's sudden outburst brought a smirk to the vagabond's face. That was the expression he wore for the duration of Ryujin's little speech about formalities and respect. It was important to note, but it was also redundant to Horus when one thought about the grand scheme of things. Nevertheless he listened keenly to what Ryujin had to say, waiting for the man to cut to the chase. "Hehe, was it that easy for ya to see through me? Like ya said, I'm a vagabond, as such titles and namesakes doesn't mean a thing to me. But alas, let us proceed with the real issues here". Horus responded quickly showing that he wasn't afraid of letting his voice and thoughts be heard. He did agree with Ryujin though, now wasn't the time to keep up appearances at all.

"Ya noticed the gates uh? I must implore them to speed up the repairs a little. It is looking unsightly, but its fine right? At least now you have some ideas as to what happened here recently. We suffer a very similar type of attack and it was by a pair of Bijuu also. Namely so the one and seven tailed Bijuu. We lost a few important people in an instant, but I am still perplexed by it. As you may already know, the Hidden rock village of Iwagakure was destroyed by the Bijuu. And even more coincidentally it was during a tournament like our villages recently held. Wanna know what I find interesting though? It was the fact that we were so easily manipulated. Which leads me to believe that there are some hidden forces at work. And I am not even talking about the Bijuu on their own. While they're powerful when working together, they have seldom come together these days. Before the villages use to seek out the power of the Bijuu. But when was the last time one of our village sought to seal and use a Bijuu as their own personal weapon? Let me answer that for you, the answer is a very long time.

Now then let us ask ourselves why and also ask ourselves what do we know? We know that our villages have been compromised, and even now I am working on figuring out who the traitors are. It makes sense that we have some wolves in sheep clothing among us. So Hokage dono...I mean Ryujin I suggest you tread carefully, unless of course ya part of the guilty party? Haha, what am I saying eh? In all seriousness someone is using the Bijuu against us it seems. During the Bijuu attack, I saw some unknown person suddenly appear and vanish with the Bijuu like it was nothing. I have familiarized myself with said person. Whoever this person was, they're capable of using space time Ninjutsu of the highest quality".
The Kazekage gave his own long winded explanation, but it was necessary, which would then bring them to the next thing. The mood had suddenly changed and before Horus could really reply to Ryujin's ambitions for a kage summit, they had reach the end of the hall. There was another door, which Horus opened and would see the Hokage go through it before closing the door behind them.

Interestingly enough, the office areas was like a maze, and in truth Horus took the long way round. Since while this room seemed so far away, it was ridiculously close to his own office. As for inside the room, it was a meeting room, where the council often held their meetings. The room was very spacious, and inside it was a monument of Horus as the first Kazekage. The statue in his likeness was recently made, with the title of Shodai Kazekage and his name above the statue. Oce the Hokage was inside the room and settled, Horus would then continue with the topic that was put on old.

"The summit of shadows seems a good idea. I am reluctant to see you go to Kirigakure, considering thats Uchiha territory. But I trust you not to make any trouble. I wish to volunteer myself for passing on the message to Kumogakure. Besides, I need to stretch my legs a little". The vagabond replied while noticing some movements outside his office. Horus smiled a little and spoke to the Hokage. "A baby buffalo has strayed from the herd. Ya might wanna ensure it doesn't get eaten by the hyenas". Horus promptly stated while alerting Ryujin to Oboro's movements. He could only hope that no one started any trouble. Otherwise he might have to give someone a spanking.  Horus was also now very much aware of the newcomer on the scene too.

"In any case, whats next?" the man asked now stood a mere five meters away from the Hokage.

The Leaf meets the Sand Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Leaf meets the Sand   The Leaf meets the Sand Icon_minitimeSat Oct 03, 2015 10:15 pm

Spoiler:

Vaati's eyes were fixed upon the taller nin, He could feel Oboro's jutsu activating within his head. For a slight moment, Vaati debated if he should reveal more about him, but quickly weighed that aganst the cost of an incident. One that he could have prevented. Mere moments after Oboro activated his jutsu Vaati would speak. "Are you certain you wish to have us perceive you as a threat?" He could feel another approaching, although who it was he did not know, but he did know that they too had a jutsu activated. He saw Oboro begin to walk away. This would not do. "You do not have permission to leave, without an escort you will be consitered a spy, and..." he paused, gauging the movements he felt and calculating a probable collision course. " it seems you have already drawn the attention of another." he would say about 10 seconds before Bastian approached.

He was already getting annoyed with this. The kazekage wished for secrecy, yet that ironically was difficult in a village of secret keepers.  They both were ordered to remain here, yet it appeared that at least one of them had the intention of leaving. He did not like the increasingly deteriorating situation. Moments before appearing around the corner, Vaati's feeling disappeared from the approaching ninja. It seemed whatever jutsu he had been using, he had no further need. Most possibly due to arriving at his destination. Vaati did not recognize the ninja, however, that was not uncommon. Few knew of him, and even fewer knew that he was now under the tutelage of the Kazekage.

The new ninja appeared to recognize one of the outsiders under his watch. He began to speak to them, the female in particular with a few whispered words for Oboro. She, on the other hand, suddenly became emotional. Why did he have such an attachment to an outsider, Vaati wondered. An attachment that, judging from her response, was even stronger for her. More importantly for Vaati, was the how. He felt nothing for this village, only caring about the revival of his clan's former prowess. But... that was not as true as he liked to believe. Small sparks of joy had begun piercing the shroud of darkness within him. The inner conflict had started, and as more time passed, the more his resolve would wane.

Vaati could feel two more signals emanating some distance behind him. He had a feeling it was the kages, but he couldn't be sure. Either way, he hoped that their meeting wouldn't drag on. For some reason, Vaati seemed to be the only one out of all of them that realized the true gravity of the situation. The two konoha ninja, would be more then willing to start a war by accident it seemed. Vaati's emotionless stare hid his annoyance as he waited to see the two's next move.

[OOC: I'm sorry Vaati but you can't know about the jutsu being active nor know about the byakugan, as you'd need sensory for such knowledge.]

The Leaf meets the Sand Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Leaf meets the Sand   The Leaf meets the Sand Icon_minitimeSun Oct 04, 2015 12:15 am

The hallway wasn't exactly narrow, the one the three were in. It was easily four meters wide, as expected to house one of the most important ninja within the shinobi world. The kazekage. It stood at 3m tall as well, allowing taller people to pass through freely. It had three entrances which also acted as exits. One was the door of which Vaati stood before, just two inches in fact. The other two were the endings of the hallways. Well not exactly the endings, just the points at which one was forced to turn onto another hall. They were each 50m from each other and on completely opposite ends. The kazekages office door, 1m wide, rested perfectly in between them. While the Kazekages office pointed to the west, the hallways pointed east: the opposite direction. The ground itself was smooth. Likely some kind of sandstone similar to the walls and ceiling. Likely thick enough to stop a formidable attack. A fourth of a meter seemed accurate based on the density. Vaati himself stood at the midpoint as specified before.

Oboro stood a few feet to the north, eleven meters or thirty six feet exactly, from Vaati. This put him at thirteen to fourteen meters away from where the hallway ended. After activating his sensory to see what's up in the room to the west, it seemed that a was shot at him by the only human in the room that had been in the world for less than ten years. A child many years his minor. Pitiful. He'd already turned his back to walk away when the child had threatened him about what seemed to be activating jutsu. At that point he simply shrugged and began to walk away. Something triggered the radius of chakra sensory however. It seemed to be coming up through the hallway to the east. It didn't seem to be a threat from this distance. As he walked away the child stated that the Kurama lacked the permissions to exit the location if he so desired. At this point in time he then turned his body once more. A full one hundred and eighty degree pivot off of his left foot. Akira was a meter to the west of him, ten to the east of Vaati. However she was not perfectly positioned between them as she stood another meter to the south, failing to hinder the view between the two. "Kid, if I were you I'd shit my mouth unless I had a death wish." his left and right hand sat atop the flesh that materialized naturally over his pelvis. Right held in the palm of his left hand.

At about this moment, Sabure (who's name was unknown at the time to my host) approached from behind Oboro. Brown hair would sway as the man wearing a baggy set of clothes turned to face the location of this new Chakra source. "This guy really came at a bad time didn't he?" I asked Oboro. I receive no response but I didn't think I would anyways. He seemed pretty livid at this moment. Most people didn't take kindly to threats. He approached Oboro in order to be within range to whisper to him. From about a meter away the man whispered a warning about activating jutsu as well. He seemed a bit more whimsical about it, though it only felt like a friendly threat at that point. He'd answered his own question and a grin came to the face of Oboro. His heartbeat slowed and I could feel him concentrating.

As if he hadn't already stepped on enough toes of the humanly Manifestation of myself, he then invited Akira off on some adventure to a watering hole within the village. Oboro still stood horizontally between the two however. At the sound of an invite, Akira just lost it. Furious with the man that had approached the party. She took a step in our direction. I had a feeling as if she wanted to reach out and grab the back of my shirt so that I could lead the way, but instead she hesitated out of fear. It was just an impulse but Oboro knew to act on it as I relayed it to him. With eyes fixated on those of Sabure, Oboro would finally speak out in front of the man who'd arrived.

"Shall we leave Akira? Find someplace to... Wind down?"

(OOC: Sensory isn't yin release. It's specified as vanilla ninjutsu in wiki and datebook. Also, he didn't activate doujutsu within 30m of you. Also you didn't specify you were using a jutsu to sense these things. Also I think you're almost out of chakra)

Spoiler:

He smiled.

How long had it been since he'd been since he saw his friends face so angry. Sabure head dropped slightly as the shame settled in. With all that had happened with his father and the sudden move to Sunagakure, Sabure was caught up in trying to fix his fucked up life. Fortunately the hard work paid off, but his social life suffered because of it.

After Akira said her peace, Sabure's face became a bit more serious. "A lot has happened Aki. It's not much of an excuse, but it's the truth. If you'd give me a chance I could explain it all. Since the village requires escort, allow me to do so. I will take full responsibility for you both," Sabure stated before bringing his attention to the visitor blocking his way, "Allow me to give you all the tour, I will take full responsibility as your escort. I'm sure you both will find the Sunagakure culture is quite elevating. And we have a lot of places in Sunagakure that can help you wind down. It's even half off if your a virgin." Sabure smirked to show he was kidding, not truly caring if anyone didn't find it amusing.

"Excuse me," Sabure said kindly as he moved passed the man that stood between him and Akira, "I'm sorry, Aki, I really am. But please understand that a lot of it I had no control over. Come with me to the oasis, you can even bring your comrade. I will even toss in a meal, my treat." His tone was as sincere as his deep voice would allow.

There were few the young Hyuuga considered friend, even fewer he considered family, but Akira was the only friend he considered family. He waited calmly for a reply, hoping for some small measure of forgiveness. If she agreed, the two would head to the oasis, if not he would head there regardless. The construction workers could do without him to day.

(Exit whether I am followed or not. Or if I am physically stopped, not verbally. Might have overlooked something, but I doubt it would matter. Thanks for ruining this for me.)

[OOC: K so I'm done. This isn't the place for OOC arguments if you guys want to do it take it to another thread. I'd just like to point out Vaati that your jutsu says "Yin Release" meaning it activates when YIN RELEASE is used, not yin chakra, there's a difference. Yin release is a release on it's own, like you so gladly pointed out, while yin chakra is half of the basis for ninjutsu to be made, with yang chakra being the other half, like you also pointed out. Yin and yang release does not equal yin and yang chakra. You can't sense anything that happened since the things they used weren't Yin Release, but partially yin chakra, which is different.]

The Leaf meets the Sand Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Leaf meets the Sand   The Leaf meets the Sand Icon_minitimeMon Oct 05, 2015 4:47 am

He would continue to listen to Horus voice his thoughts as they walked down the hallway. It was long before they would reach the end of the hall with Horus still continuing to speak to Ryujin. With the Kazekage having opened the door and waited for Ryujin to enter, he would indeed enter through the doorway as he stepped into the next room before. "I should get me one of those." He would think to himself as the first thing he noticed was a statue standing tall, a near perfect replica of the man that followed behind him. The Senju would walk closer to the windows of the room as he entered the room, standing beside a chair in front of the meeting room's table, to the right of the chair to be exact. It was the chair closest to the edge of the table, with the rest of the table continuing on to Ryujin's own right, another chair sat 1.5 meters to his right, with one more chair being seated another 1.5 meters to that chair's right. The table's seating mirrored that of the side which Ryujin stood. It seemed his host would keep a comfortable distance of five meters from Ryujin by the time he stopped beside the chair. The atmosphere was indeed serious the entire time as Ryujin considered the matters of which Horus spoke to be quite important, so he listened with undivided attention to the vagabond.

Once Horus stopped talking, he would start to voice his own concerns regarding Horus' choice of topics, one of which would be the discovery of a wolf within Horus' den. "There are indeed wolves hidden in the finest sheep clothing available Horus. In fact I've discovered one within your very own selection of Jounin, maybe even ANBU, if that's what you call your guys, considering the high amounts of chakra he has and skill too. Upon my arrival here, just before I approached your gates along with my two students, I've witnessed a terrible crime committed by one of your high ranking shinobi. It would be better if I went into detail, so there are no misunderstandings. My Sensory technique picked up two chakra signatures about 200 meters outside the village's walls. I would proceed to turn my head towards them as a bright light came shining my way. I didn't catch much with my sight, but as fast as that light came as fast did one of the shinobi disappear. Now I may not be the greatest Fuinjutsu user in the world, but I'm no fool, that lower ranked shinobi was sealed with that light. And it gets better, some more information for you. He used a very strong technique, one very rare in fact, to escape to wherever he was running to. I summoned two of my best beasts to apprehend him, which was when he ran, a coward if you ask me." Now that last bit might not have been entirely true, but Ryujin didn't catch the whole story, only what he saw and so to him it was the truth.

He waited for a second or two before continuing to speak. "This technique of his is known as the Flying Thunder God technique, I'm sure you've heard of it's capabilities yes? Now with this information, of one of your high ranking shinobi having disposed of one of you lowered ranking shinobi, I'm sure you'll investigate it? I doubt he'll confess when you do find him though, I wouldn't be surprised if he even called me a liar, trying to pit us against each other. But it's times like these that we need to stay strong, together, as shinobi." He had indeed have a lot of stuff to speak about, a lot of things to reply to in his own opinionated manner. "So that figure also appeared here? Taking your invading Bijuu with them? Strange. The leaf managed to capture the Rokubi after I had disposed of the Gobi, however this person also appeared in the leaf to take the Rokubi from our grasps. If this happened to your invasion too, then something is definitely very wrong. This person interacted with three bijuu, probably would've interacted with the Gobi too if it wasn't already dead, which means he, or she, has the force of at least four bijuu behind them which could be used against us. There's a good possibility they also have the other five bijuu on their side too. The Bijuu obviously weren't sealed, they could possibly be an Uchiha.. My clan has a very large, detailed book on what we've gathered about the Uchiha during all our years of warring, I'm sure I've read about the sharingan's ability to control other things through Genjutsu. Could they be controlling the Bijuu, a real possibility if you ask me Horus."

He would take about two more seconds for a quick breather before finishing off what he wanted to say. He laughed a little at himself having so much to say. "Thank you Horus, it saves me the trip." He would think a little as Horus spoke about him not needing to cause trouble in Kirigakure. But his blind disgust for the Uchiha prevented the friendly warning to get completely through, whether it be a warning of Sunagakure intercepting or simply a warning for Ryujin's safety against the Uchiha remained unknown to him but he cared little. When it came to the Uchiha he would change almost instantly, they truly and honestly disgust Ryujin, the filth of the earth. "I'm not gonna lie to you Horus, there isn't one part within my being that can honestly say to you that I won't cause trouble. The Uchiha and my family have hated each other for generations, they've killed members of my family, and I don't even mean the clan but instead I mean my actual blood family. They've attempted to take my life, a defenseless infant at that time, and simply to prevent an heir from replacing my father when he's outaged his position. I'm not saying I will cause trouble, I'm just saying I'm not 100 percent sure if I I can't cause trouble in the mist." It was after this that Ryujin would move to the window to see Oboro leave the building, with another having left the building a few moments earlier as he walked a few meters in front of Oboro. "Excuse me Horus, but I guess this is my cue. The summit will be held within the land of snow, there will be an escort waiting upon your arrival on the 23rd of this month. You're welcome to take along with you two escorts of your own. Be sure to tell the same to the Raikage when you meet him or her." He would say as he started moving towards the door back to the hallway which lead to the kage office from which they came, so he could go and prevent Oboro from causing any problems between the two villages if he got attacked or accused of something without a proper witness. He looked back at Horus before entering the hallway. "Be safe, we don't know who wants to get rid of the new leaders. I'll see you soon, friend." He would then turn to the hallway and exit the building. As he reaches Oboro and Aki he would start talking, his tone harsh and disappointed. "Where do you think you're going? You just interrupted my meeting with the Kazekage, because you wanted to wander off on your own? We're going home, I'll deal with you back in the leaf Oboro-kun." They would then leave the village, taking the same route they did to get to the office, having no need to hide their presence further, word probably already spread with useless guards letting anyone through. He would however keep his sensory active to know of anything that might be stupid enough to take on team Hokage.
[I'm tired as f*** so shitty post. Sorry Horus~ We should def thread again sometime though.

Akira would look to Oboro as he seemed to be trying to help her make a decision. She was tempted to go along with him, yet she was tempted to stay. Bastian was offering an explanation. He was offering what she wanted to know but she couldn't just let Oboro wander by himself. Especially since she had never seen thus village before. She wanted to explore if he was going to. However, soon Bastian would speak again and leave.

Should she follow him? What would Oboro do? Where would he go? Would she be left alone? Abandoned again? Her body wouldn't move and her mind couldn't decide. It took a moment to realize but her mind was more focused on answers than most things. She couldn't have unanswered questions. What kind of researchers allows questions to go unanswered?

However before she could speak, the Hokage would emerge. He didn't seem very pleased with Oboro but he didn't even acknowledge her presence. Was she like invisible or something? How had she not also received any sort of scolding? That's when the man would say they were leaving but.. she couldn't. She had to know. Perhaps, she could persuade him in a way. However, she would wait until the opportune moment. For now, she would follow him out of the building.
