PostSubject: Kimono Shop [Open Hitomi / Ayatsuri]   Tue Oct 06, 2015 6:22 pm

A calm day was passing by with the same wind gliding through to Hitomi's home. A few fabrics were left out to dry, all seeming to be made of pure silk glistening around. This place was deep in the market district where a woman named Nuime created gorgeous kimono outfits of all sorts. This woman was once upon a time a shinobi herself, however retired out of inability to fight and now runs this business. Inside the store/house, the usual living room had been converted into the front shop. A few seats and couches lines, a few dressing rooms to see how things try on, and at the front counter was Nuime whom took size measurements, and created these art pieces. Hitomi helped aid in money values, and calculations as her little brother Tamotsu was the shop cleaner and entertainment. Most of the customers were anywhere from young brides to elder couples seeking a look into the past, as kimonos were a traditional art that were unfortunately being made less and less often as years came on.

Hitomi was returning to her position after a heavy day of training, granted she was tired but she was doing this so she could be stronger and her family would be financially stable. She had heard random rumors of visitors from other villages coming here, she didn't know from where but anywhere is good business either way, perhaps more would travel one day to see her mother's works. She started cleaning the windows up, which the shop may seem brand new, but rather because of the Bijuu event it had tumbled down and was rebuilt, giving them a chance to rebuild in a more store-like method. Just as shop opened up Hitomi stood near to the door to give out greetings, while in her own kimono outfit her mother had made. Not only out of respect but to show how her mother's creations were expected to look.

The journey, while pleasant, had been blessedly short, relatively speaking. While Ayatsuri enjoyed travel and sightseeing, the anticipation wore off about halfway through, at which point she hopped on a rather wealthy man’s carriage and rode the rest of the way to and into the village. The conversation within had been frequent and drab, the man preferring to speak almost exclusively about his money, wealth, treasures, and the beauty of the woman with whom he shared this trip. She had to give it to him, she was, in the estimation of many, quite lovely. She also was not above using this to her advantage, in this case a large sum of money and a free ride most of the way to Konoha. Plus, this allowed her to see all of the sites from the cushioned interior of the cart and bought her an effective but simple way into the village free of any real scrutiny.

Upon arrival, she departed with the man and promptly got lost in a crowd, according to him, though in realty she simply slipped away. She meandered about for a while, her double and traveling cloak shielding her from the beautiful but harsh sunlight of this country. As per usual, she carried with her the weapons of her trade, a thin rapier and white katana, as well as a sum of throwing knives, though she had no intention of using them. This was not a visit of combat, but rather one of relaxation, procurement of medical expertise, and… maybe some shopping. A small shop had caught her eye, a collection of silk in every color imaginable hanging in the window. The woman’s deep, lilac eyes widened in joy as she took in the gorgeous kimonos.

A bell rung as she entered the shop, scampering in and immediately losing herself among the beautiful clothing. The woman had a taste for dresses and fine cloth, and this small shop in this distant land had grabbed her full attention. After only a few minutes of looking, she’d already found four different kimonos that she wanted to try on. She walked over to the front counter, finding a girl about her age perhaps with lovely red hair. ”Hello there!” She smiled brightly as she spoke, the long braid of silver hair rippling down her back. ”You don’t happen to allow for people to try any of these on, do you? There’s a beautiful dark pink one over in the corner that I may just need, but all of them are so lovely! Oh, and where do you get them from?”

She gave a nod and wave to the new customers coming in, one of which she didn't recognize but they seemed to be going on peacefully and it wasn't like there were rumors around of much danger so she felt assured things were fine. With that she noticed the same person seeming to radiate around the outfits as if they were perfection itself. This made her deeply happy inside considering her mother was very adamant about her designs but to hear it from some stranger was more than enlightening. With that she went over to aid her in some questions, in the meantime giving out answers and pointers. "Yes trying them on is allowed, and thank you so much for the compliment. My mother there hand crafts these herself, and is self taught. However if you'd prefer she can make a custom fit with a fabric of your choice as well."

She explained as she lead the woman to her mother whom was sitting aside and sewing some fabric pieces together, but that wasn't the most surprising part. The bigger surprise was that she was doing it all with one hand. Her other was bandaged up, and though Hitomi herself could heal the hole she couldn't bring life to a dead limb quite yet. With that said her mother gave a calm smile to her and laid the fabric down. Hitomi then looked to the woman and then shuffled some words. "Well I'm Hitomi, and this is my mother Nuime. We're not of any clan really so no need to ask, so uh what's your name miss? You don't seem familiar to me." Nuime nodded curiously looking to her but keeping a calm and sweet tone to the situation. It was just curiosity, and it wasn't like their family had anything against other villages. "Oh and if you're interested about that special size made one I talked about, there is just one drawback. We'd have to measure you, the process isn't long it's just some customers are more private about themselves which is completely understandable. I'd just thought to mention that since you seemed so interested in her designs." She asked curiously as her mother seemed more of a calm silent type of person, only ever speaking when she absolutely has to so she can focus on her work.

As she listened, the deep purple eyes of Ayatsuri grew wider and wider, taking on an almost comic appearance. Simply, she could hardly believe that these beautiful dresses were made in house, considering how many there were, and that the woman, this red haired girl’s mother, had taught herself the arts. ”Woooo! They are so beautiful! And truly? I could have one custom made? That is the most fantastic news!” She chattered away as the other girl moved them to where the mother was sewing up some more cloths, Ayatsuri’s hands gesturing wildly in her excitement. When they arrived, she was the woman, sewing with a single hand, and Aya could not move her eyes away, though not particularly because of the one-handed nature of the process. She was a craftswoman, and there was something almost hypnotic about watching a master at work.

Her pupils followed the elegant, refined motions of the woman and her thread as her daughter introduced them. ”This is amazing! Your technique really astounds, though I bet you hear that all the time. It’s nice to meet you Hitomi-chan, Nuime-san.” She bowed to each as she said their names. ”My name is Ayatsuri, though you can just call me Aya if you prefer. And you are right, I am not from here. I actually come from the Land of Clouds. It never gets this sunny there, so I’m having a hard time not frolicking around outside!” She giggled a bit to herself, looking sheepishly at Hitomi. ”Oh but I’m babbling. I actually came looking for some medical advice. The Land of Clouds has very few doctors and almost no qualified specialists, but I’ve heard that your village has some high class medicines. I just couldn’t help but stop when Iyou’re your lovely kimonos. But yes, yes, I would like to be fitted for one I think.” She smiled hugely then, holding one of her thumbs up to show how excited she was.

Regardless of where the fitting took place or whether or not it started, Ayatsuri would follow along, preparing herself for the deed. As she went she spoke up, mostly to Hitomi. ”You say you are not from a clan, but would I be right in guessing you are a shinobi? Most regular civilians don’t bother mentioning things like that. If so, perhaps you could give me some advice on seeking out the medical expert I need? I would very much appreciate it if you could!”

She gave another nod, this time to answer her first exclaim in joyment. "Ah how nice to hear, I myself wouldn't be able to enjoy the weather myself over there either so don't worry too much on that. I'm not quite adapted to stormy days." She mentioned giving a happy smile back. "Ah Medical advice? I could easily give you some, of course you know rules and all I can't give out certain things under kage rule for protection purposes. But anything else should be fine really, Just be ready to ask for specific items, cause there are broad spectrums of medicine and iryojutsu." She gathered the measuring tape as she begun to line it up and write it down, doing calculations on the pad for her mother to work from. After all a miscalculation could mean the fabric being too long or short. After a while she moved from arm length to hip length as she finished it up, and sat the board on the table for her mother who looked at the sizes and studied them. Hitomi then decided to ask if she could come pick the fabric out. "Alright while she's busy you can pick out a fabric, and then afterwards we can chat more of medical aid while she's making the dress." She pointed out in a cheerful expression as Hitomi picked up fabrics similar to the ones she had picked out beforehand. However with different designs on it.

"Well we have a similar colored one to the one you liked before, but the design is very different. Or we have a similar design but different trim." She said pointing out that each one seemed to be unique, none of them really showed to much similarities if it couldn't be helped, rather each are completely different entirely, no one roll was the exact same. Being that she dyed the fabric herself, Hitomi guided her around the different areas of fabrics to find really good ones to choose from. "I'm sure any of these could be made into a pretty kimono, but whenever my mother does it, she picks a tone. She usually stays at home for long hours so she finds things to put in her design. With nature ever changing I doubt she'd ever run out of ideas." She gave a primed smile, she was deeply happy hearing amazing praises, not only from a customer but someone from other lands and they're very calm, it was warming to hear such amazing words.

"Well yes, it's just many mistake my hair and eyes to be of the Uzumaki, considering there are many of that clan surrounding and being very well known it's hard to get people around here to believe that i'm not from any clan. Actually my last name's Shiruku, which means silk." She sighed before cheering up once more from the thought of being mistaken for someone else. Why did a clan standard have to include outer body similarities? She'd never know, but that's just what it did. Still one can't expect to not look similar if it's the same tree line, her family was mixed of different kinds and sorts, but never really showed anything restricting them or furthering them. "My family are silk makers, they usually came from the desert of Suna though they moved here after saving enough money and making a shop. It's actually pretty often to see red hair and blue eyes over there."

Her ears perked up as she hear the other woman speak about offering medical advice, tempered by the fact that she could, obviously, not give out any secrets about the village or anything that the kage had forbade her from speaking on. Ayatsuri smiled to her at this, nodding along as Hitomi spoke. ”Ah I see I see. That’s good to know. And I would not expect you to betray your homeland and village of course. I actually have a rather odd question, but more on that later.” She spoke as she was being measured, not terribly shy about the whole thing, though she made sure to take off her jacket, setting it down upon the back of a chair while the measurements were taken. She tilted her head to one side, closing her eyes as she grinned at the other woman as she gave a small tour of some of their lovely fabrics. Her head spun as she searched the racks with her eyes, looking everywhere and at seemingly everything, her only discernable guide that of the shop worker’s pointing finger and helpful words.

”Ooooh! These are all so wonderful! I can’t decide.” She put a finger to her lips, looking left and right at the huge array of choices, occasionally ghosting a finger along the fabrics to get a feel for them. As a woman of high tastes and who used her hands for a living, the feel of the silk played an important role for her. ”I think I like this pattern a lot,” she indicated a subtly wavy design, elegant and with hints of gold in it, ”But I’m thinking a new color. Hm… hard to decide. Do I go with red or a summery green?” She thought to herself, reflecting on the seasons. Fall would arrive soon, though she knew not if the leaves here would change color as they did back in Kumo. ”Yes yes yes” she looked through another collection of silks. Suddenly she stopped, gently extracting one bolt, a regal, deep purple color which awoke the unique hue of her eyes and complemented her silvery hair wonderfully. ”This one! I thnk I found it! It’s magnificent!” She hugged the thing to her body, subtle silver embroideries glinting in the light from the sun streaming through one of the windows. After she’d made her decision, she offered the fabric to Hitomi. She twirled a graceful faux-pirouette after handing over the silk.

”Ah I am so excited!” She heard as the girl spoke of a clan, the Uzumaki, which she knew only a bit about. Sealing masters, if her mind recalled, with shockingly red hair. She could see the resemblance, though also understood Hitomi’s desire to be her own person, unmarked and unjudged by the clan she did or did not belong to. She nodded solemnly as she heard her speak of this. ”Well clan or not it makes no difference. You are who you are, and your family seems to run a splendid shop. I honestly cannot believe it isn’t much larger! But I suppose it may be hard to make too many at once.” She heard of her last name. Silk. Lovely. ”Ah I see! I have never traveled off to the vast desert, but it does seem rather hot. And your family there makes these beauties too!? Such talent!”

As she awaited whatever was to come next, payment of some final details to be decided in regards to her kimono, she leveled her eyes once more upon her host. ”Oh I almost forgot though. My query. You see, I myself am also a craftswoman, though not of anything nearly as lovely as these. Rather, I make manikins and puppets, that sort of thing. I have come across some, well, some odd materials which I believe can be used for just such a thing, but I am honestly not quite sure. So, I have decided to find a doctor or medic who might be able to help me out there.” She regained her smile once more, it having briefly faded as she spoke of the body she’d come into. She figured that such a thing were possible, but she did need a second opinion. Perhaps Hitomi would be able to point her in the right direction.

Hitomi replied with a short nod to her on the topic of the medical advice then once moving on to the fabrics it was hard not to feel encouraged by such enlightenment. "Well I'm not sure what you'd like the outfit for but if you're to stay in the village for a while some of the leaves will be turning into many hues soon, I'm sure whatever color you pick would match such an event." It was then that she noticed her excitement over a specific fabric was uncanny but not rude. Rather it was funny to see her pirouette over to Hitomi with the fabric to hand over. "I can see your excitement, it's hard to miss it." She laughed a bit as she begun to walk back to her mother to hand the fabrics over. She then took a look around the shop before returning her eyes back to Ayatsuri. "Well if we'd make more money then it could grow, but so far the shop is a very slow going and small business, most of the funds come from my medical works rather than the dresses. It's hard to get customers if the only ones who come here are repeat customers, we need a bit more new people to come in really." She said unraveling some of the fabric for her mother before giving another nod to her. "Yes my uncle carries on the tradition there, where as his daughter, whom is my cousin, is a shinobi herself. Like I said it's hard to get businesses going so most of the time we've joined the ranks. It risks our lives, but at the same time it supplies us with enough money for survival and after generations of doing this, at least we've gotten somewhere with it."

She started up a few calculations with the sizes as her mother had now been able to remember them and work with the fabric for the time being, then she wrote them down and came up with a final amount. Their amounts for such clothes really was about as much as going out and getting used clothing, the pricing being pretty low but at the same time they couldn't bring it up due to slow business. Hitomi then sat the calculations down and turned back to the customer. "Ah puppets, i'm guessing it's poison you need, or perhaps some advice on how to make it atomically correct right?" She asked curiously as she then looked around for somewhere for them to sit down and chat. "Oh yes and the payment is here on the sheet, just pay during or when it's done. It's fine either way. We're in no rush here, it takes time to make it." She waved off so she could continue the conversation being that she was very interested and curious. "I'm not sure with puppetry entirely but it does share similarities to studies in human anthropology, so it's common to have the two lap over."

The woman listened along, her measurements taken and cloth chosen, as Hitomi outlined the struggles of the business. Aya’s face fell just a bit, her eyes darkening just a small amount as she heard. ”That is surprising. I would have thought this store would attract all kinds of customers, even from exotic places. Truly, these dresses are some of the highest quality, most beautiful clothes I have seen in a long while. I’ll be sure to tell everyone about it wherever I go!” she exclaimed, smiling brightly. It did confuse her how the store could not be ravished with business, considering the fine quality of the wares, but perhaps Konoha simply was not a place of fine things and high fashion. ”I can assure you, some of the prominent families in my country would love these things. They’ll be terribly jealous when they see me in the kimono I get from here!”

The conversations then shifted over to puppets, Ayatsuri assuring the other woman that she would most certainly stay for a time, at least long enough to see her outfit completed, if not longer. ”Yes yes, I do hope that the two fields happen to overlap. And no, I don’t require any poisons, at least not right now.” She smiled, her hand hovering over the rear of her hip where she had the scroll, sealed up beneath the layers of clothing and wood and bone. She’d have to reveal it eventually, of course, and perhaps this girl could help her directly. She moved ver to sit next to Hitomi. ”I actually have come into a, well a body. I have stored it away and drained it of blood so as to preserve it, but I was thinking it may be possible to transform into a puppet, though I am not entirely sure how to do this. Would you know anyone who might be able to help, or perhaps you could help me?”

She nodded looking to her for the while. "Well people just don't have the money for nice things these days, sure we have a lot of people come in but have you seen anyone go out with an outfit yet?" She pointed out to the other customers who really were mostly window shoppers than anything else. "We even price it cheaper as still not many can buy, things of beauty have a price and many unfortunately can't meet it." She sighed looking at the many designs and kimonos. "Some even asked for custom mades, but never came to pay or pick them up. that's usually what we have out front." She said in a solemn tone looking around at the outfits. "But thank you, I'm sure if we could get more publicity then we'd have customers who could afford these outfits. I'm sure my mother wouldn't mind making a wardrobe of them if she couldn't help it." Hitomi mentioned giving out a chuckle as she heard of the envious tastes of her home. More than naught it sounded like a very prosperous place, which is what the land of fire is, if the Bijuu hadn't had happened.

With that the conversation on puppets carried on as she listened over about the details. "A body, well excuse me for being curious and all but where did you find the body? Oh and if it was, well y'know...not killed by yourself of course. I mean it does raise questions when one is talking about lobotomy." She questioned as they continued to converse about the body and how well cleaned and kept it was. "Well for the question on puppets, I'm pretty sure it can. There were many old practices with bodies and such, so long as you can find the chakra pathways it's easier to control than wood really. Though a body is much more fragile, whipping it around tends to break the skin or cut the veins." She mentioned on her knowledge of the human body limits, being that since her family was from suna she had seen body puppets herself there, though the bodies were of dried up travelers who became dehydrated, so the differences there to here were pretty obvious. "I mean so long as I can get details on the person's reason of death, and figure out the chakra pathways along with your puppeting expertise I could easily make that. Though if the body happened to be of an innocent victim of your killing, I'd have to take you in for questioning. But if it's cause of death was of something natural then I don't see a reason that would be too bad. "

She heard some more of the shop’s troubles, sounding of an economic nature as the people of the village could not, at least presently, afford nice things. Ayatsuri frowned a bit, her mouth turning delicately downward at the corners. ”That is a shame to hear, for these are truly exquisite. But” she smiled brightly, perking up and bouncing a bit, ”I’m sure business will improve if you all keep at it! People are bound to notice and save up for things like this, especially come the next trade boom after the growing season is finally over and crops are in! I have faith that you guys will find some nice customers, especially, as you say, for the very reasonable prices you charge.” She moved to sign the payment form, writing down an amount for quite a deal more than the price of her gown.

On the other side of conversation, the puppet business came about. Ayatsuri worried her bottom lip a bit as Hitomi questioned about the body in question. The silver haired woman had expected as much, but it seemed she had not fully prepared herself for the impact of the question. ”No, I uh… I have a bit of a confession to make. I…” she trailed off a bit, her voice catching lightly. She averted her eyes, pausing for a breath, before looking back to Hitomi, a haze of tears clouding her eyes, though she tried her best to keep them from falling. ”We had been seeing each other, this man and I, and the other day, he arrived at my house, stumbling and… and…” she broke off, drying her eyes with her sleeves for a second. ”Oh gosh look at me. I’m so sorry for unloading all of this on you, but I haven’t had many people to talk about it with. He showed up at my house and passed soon after. He could not even speak at the end because… well…” She produced the scroll from behind her, unfurling it a bit, gesturing tentatively if Hitomi would allow her to release the body.

”It may be easier if I just show you, if you don’t mind.” Her voice continued to waiver, but she seemed to gain more confidence as she spoke, her eyes wavering less and less. ”I don’t know who killed him, but I want to find them. I want to find them and show them what they’ve done to him and myself.” Should Hitomi allow her, or specify a location, she would release the body so that her friend could look over it. Should the body release, at Hitomi’s behest, Aya would turn her face away upon its release, catching her breath before slowing returning to face the deceased body before the two.

She nodded firmly with a seriously happy tone. "Oh yes once that time comes around, it's amazing just how much business we gain. Thank you for your faith in us." She smiled as she heard the amazing chat about the busy time of autumn. She then toned down to hear of the saddened tale of how she got the body into her possession and took a gasp. "Oh my I'm so sorry to hear that, it's so similar to what had happened to my father though I couldn't bear to make him into a puppet myself. I have too sworn to seek those who murdered him as you do for that man." She mentioned feeling sympathy towards her as she went on to nodding at her comments of the body and what it had received in life.

She looked over the body and gave a nod. "I see, quite a sad tale and so many markings. I'll have to fix the body up a bit but it should be workable. Most of the problems lay in the gashes, seeing as I can't heal dead bodies it'll have to be mended and you'll have to be careful with using it as it could re-open the stitching. But other than that no bruises, no signs of too much strain, I'd say he died a pretty fast and painless death if that helps any." She looked over the anatomy of it keeping check to anything else that could be out of order. "I'm so sorry if this is too much for you, I'll keep looking this over and fixing it up. You can go ahead and find a seat while I work on it. Hopefully when I'm done it'll look no different to his living self save for a few cuts." She said with a cheerful smile to hopefully brighten the other up and calm her down.

She nodded along happily as Hitomi thanked her for the kind words, smiling with her, though finding the compliment unnecessary; she had not simply said it to please the woman or to lift her spirits. She had said it because she believed in the business and in the lovely things this family made. She, in reality, could hardly contain her excitement for the beautiful kimono she knew the girl and her mother would create and honestly felt a great shock at the knowledge that the business ever struggled. Perhaps Konoha and the Land of Fire had fallen onto hard times like the Land of Clouds had as well. It would make sense, especially if the village had suffered a recent bijuu attack as seemed to be the case if she judged by the gossip circulating around the streets and the travelers, such as the man she rode here with. She mused only for a bit on this, however, before conversation shifted once again.

She heard the woman, pouring over the surface features of the body, state that he had had a quick death, one with little pain, and her eyes, yet misty, snapped up to Hitomi. ”Thank you. Thank you Hitomi-san. That means a great deal to me. And I understand that my request may be a bit unorthodox, but it means a lot.” She watched along as the girl looked over the anatomy of Kozai some more, commenting on it and offering a recourse from having to watch the procedure. She turned to sit down for a moment before stopping herself, her eyes growing strong with resolve. ”No, if it is all the same, I think I would like to stay. I think I need to watch, if it won’t bother you.” She nodded, determined and sullen, but not distraught or out of control. ”And I’m sorry to hear about your loss as well. I… I know how you feel.” She offered a conciliatory smile, small and demure, but one of solidarity.

She smiled at this understanding and looked to her thankfulness of the body's intact portions. "It's fine, really I've heard much worse go down in hospitals...all from malpractice to pure murder. This is more of a chance to get back something. I know revenge isn't sweet but letting the killer lose isn't justice either." She mentioned clenching her fists for a moment remembering her past and her father's injuries. Such a cruel fate at a young age, not only to see her father become harmed but then suffer in the hospital, and dying alone. With no rights to see him until after he was examined and prepared for his own funeral. This was the reason she had so many trust issues as a child, no one told her the truth until she showed it to them. Now, now she could now she could show just how demonic an act it was. But onto the issue at hand she looked to her and nodded.

"It's fine, I just didn't want to upset your stomach, many people don't have one to sustain such a tragic event. I don't mind the company really, I just hope you'll be okay." She said as she began to work on the body. It would take hours to complete and she would need help from her new friend here but it would be finished and well made to match similarities to a living man. "Alright, try giving it a test. See it's integrity and if it flows well. Then we can get back to the kimono to check on it's progression while I clean up a bit. I had to make sure the body was processed enough to not decompose anymore than it had, so I wouldn't touch it with my hands if I were you until about an hour later." She said in a strong sigh of a workload done. She washed up then wiped her forehead before returning. "Other than that I'd say he's as good as new, and so will you be in such a beautiful outfit."

She watched carefully, her large purple eyes moving to and fro, as the other woman worked. The task performed really was an amazing feet, especially for someone who looked as young as Hitomi did, and Ayatsuri found herself terribly impressed with the other girl’s amazing talent. She did not speak much and made little noise, unless asked to, in which case she offered helpful hints or answered questions that the red head needed to know about the body or about puppets and such in general. As the store worker and medic began, however, Aya did speak up, expressing thanks. ”I… I’m glad we understand one another, Hitomi-san, though it saddens me to know of your pain as well. Still, it’s nice to share in the grief, if only for a short while.” She nodded her resolve, ready then to begin work on the body.

The process was a long one, though the silver haired woman had expected about as much, though watching it managed to keep her interest throughout the whole of it. When finally it had finished, Kozai was complete, beautiful and wooden, though Ayatsuri would need to make some additions to him. She had prefabricated a kind of suit of fake flesh to put over the puppet which would make him look truly lifelike and she had also painstakingly grown a replacement skeleton for him of her own bones, modifying them so that they would fit his frame and leave both a wide range of mobility and room to fill him with gadgets and modifications. However, she recognized the beautiful work Hitomi had done and her face opened a bit in shock when she was asked to test it out. She raised her right hand, attaching a few invisible strings to the body, and moved it around just a bit, stopping shortly after it. The movements were shaky, uncertain and quaking, as though she were a bit unsure. However, that moment of connection between the two gave her all the information she needed as to the feel and make of the creation as she was, after all, highly masterful in the art.

Eyes still a bit misty, she turned to look at the other woman. ”Thank you so much, Hitomi-san. I cannot express in words nor actions how much this means to me. You… thank youn. It is all I can say.” She offered a deep bow to the red haired woman before requesting one more thing. ”There is a final aspect that I wish to have you test. It is uncommon, but sometimes people do mess with the blood of clan members, even post mortem. Kozai was from a distant clan, one not native to my country, and I would ask that you test some of the tissue here to ensure that nothing has been tampered with. If you could be so kind as to name the clan from whence he comes, it would bring me great peace of mind. He… he would not have wanted his killer meddling with his body and blood.” She averted her eyes then for a moment, regaining her composure.

Once these rather sordid affairs had finished, she heard the other woman comment on the craftsmanship of the puppet and on the beauty of her soon to be dress, something Ayatsuri felt sure would astound her, even after having seen the other dresses for sale. She brightened up at the thought. ”Yes of course! I cannot wait to see the splendor of your mother’s creation!” She would accompany Hitomi off to go look at the new gown, bubbling with excitement and anticipation to see the beautiful dress she had bought.

Hitomi nodded as she looked to Ayatsuri. "Sharing grief helps take of the burden and strengthen the bond, or at least that's what I've been told a lot in my workplace." She mentioned as she smiled at the other's emotions to this. She then heard of the blood of someone from a clan and though at first she didn't feel too worried she then remembered that it is true someone could have the blood and if it's from a foreign country it could be recognizable. She gave a nod and then got out her blood smear test, and laying it aside before gathering some tissue from the body to test the type. "Well with the amount left it did feel pretty hollow, so I'll test it out to see if he were drained." She continued into this test and followed the blood smearing for chakra patterns. Once found she'd compare it to other samples she had on files, due to patients coming in and out of the hospital, certain blood can only be donated to another similar type.

She found one match up and she look in some surprises. "It's, I think it's uzu-maki? Yes it's Uzumaki. Well then that's unique, the blood doesn't look drained out, a bit lower than usual but it's more so tied to that wound so otherwise he seems to have not been tampered with." She said with great promise in her voice, she seemed happy at the thought infact. A clan has the hardship of protecting the blood's properties. That was one good thing about her blood, it had no clan or benefit other than emergencies. She felt calm on the matter as she talked on. "I don't know much of the clan itself, mostly because I am not one of them, if you want to know more on them you'd have to ask someone inside the clan." She mentioned as she began to finish up the matter and do some final checks before it was completed.

Now with it done Hitomi had hoped the dress should be done then as she lead Ayatsuri to her mother and found it to be so. "Ah good it's finished, you can go on ahead and try it on for fit, you paid so it's yours now." She said looking to the creation with her mother sitting her needle and thread away and resting her hand. Hitomi held it up to give to her. "Well, I would say it looks beautiful."

As the process wrapped up, Aya listened to the other woman, her newfound friend, sharing with her some words of comfort before testing the blood of poor Kozai so as to ensure that it had not been tampered with. After a short series of tests, Hitomi announced that he was of the Uzumaki clan, a clan most knew something about, and that he had not been tampered with. This knowledge coincided with the feel Ayatsuri had gotten for the deceased’s chakra when she briefly manipulated him with her strings and eased her mind a bit. She nodded solemnly to Hitomi as she said the words, her understanding and happiness for knowing the blood had not been messed conveyed by her simple look. ”Thank you so much, once again. This… well it means a great deal.”

She then moved at the other’s call, the pair going over to locate the completed dress she had paid for. Her mother, the one sewing it, handing it over, a delicate looking thing of fine make and astounding beauty, the royal purple just the right color to highlight the woman’s dark eyes. She smiled as she accepted it, running off to the nearby fitting room and putting it on. She observed herself in the mirror, admiring the cut, the stitch, and the colors as they made her hair seem to almost glow and her eyes erupt with color. After only a moment in the room she exited to show Hitomi and her mother, smiling hugely as she twirled about so they could see the beautiful creation they had made. ”My goodness, it is truly so beautiful! I thank you, both of you, deeply from my heart.” She bowed her thanks once more.

After this she had little to do but wrap up her puppet and say goodbye to the pair of lovely ladies at the shop. She stored Kozai within the White Square on her hip, dangling regally from her new outfit which she wore, and later, once she had returned to her hotel, finished outfitting him with a host of new toys and gadgets, replacing his previous skeleton with the new one she’d made and filling him up with a collection of powerful weapons. Before this, before she left and grabbed him, she turned once more to Hitomi. ”I know I keep saying this, but thank you. I had a wonderful time meeting you and you really have helped me in more ways than one. I am glad we met, and I wish you the best in your future. Oh,” she paused and offered up a wide smile, ”and I sincerely hope that you and I meet again!” With that, she would turn to leave, unless Hitomi required anything else, and exit out into the city of Konoha once more, walking with silent steps back to the room she’d rented and, eventually, back to her homeland.

She gave a calm smile to Ayatsuri as she was thanked again. It was hard not to feel pleasant considering such generous attitude given towards both her and her mother. She almost wished her younger brother were here, but he'd probably be bored well bored and not learning anything considering he's in the Academy. "It's no problem, really it was nice meeting you." She watched the beautiful outfit fit on perfectly and accepted the amazing congratulations to her mother, it was so touching to see such love for her mother's designs. If only she were around when her mother was at her prime, once upon a time a shinobi but now just a seamstress at a kimono shop. With that said Hitomi helped with what she could to load things up and then waved off. Seeing her carriage leave back to her homeland she bowed her head slightly. "I thank you as well, for giving a good feeling of hope to this small family of mine. I do hope we meet again, I'm sure it'll be as pleasant as today."

She then watched her leave as she turned back to the shop and her mother sat there smiling, it was then Hitomi laid a hand on her shoulders looking to her mother then hugged her. Her mother dripping a few tears from her eyes and hugging her back with her one hand. Hitomi took a moment of this family bonding to speak. "I told you mom, your works are worth so much more than you think." It was then a hand patted Hitomi's head as she backed away in some surprise to see her mother calmly smiling. "As are you...my little Hato-chan. Your father would be proud." Nuime hadn't spoke much all day, but it seemed being touched in her core broke out words. Usually her children already knew her words of wisdom with silence, but this time it was even more special. Hitomi would spend the rest of that day enthrilled to the very marrow, doing just about everything she could with double the effort.
