PostSubject: Got Milk? [PvT/Horus/Coal]   Got Milk? [PvT/Horus/Coal] Icon_minitimeMon Oct 26, 2015 2:32 pm

Yurae Shinohara stood in her kitchen, the cave like mud hut naturally provided a cooling shade. She shivered a little in her pajamas, a greying loose hippy pants and a white tank top. The kitchen was dark as the Desert sun head yet to wake up. Right now there were probably scarab beetles and scorpions scurrying for their last chance of food and survival. Come the sun they would all hide again. The room lit up as the fridge door creaked open. The buzz of the fan could be heard. Hmm... Her hands found a carton of milk. Giving a light shake made the contents jiggle. It was nearly finished, she would need to buy more milk on the way home tonight. The room was wrapped in a blue darkness as the fridge was closed. The old animal returned to its distant purring. Yurae drank in small sips going around the kitchen light on her feet. Even despite the near pitch black darkness she seemed to be well aware of her surroundings. She picked up a couple dishes and placed them in the sink, throwing a smelly dish cloth in the wash basket. It hadn't been too long but the place was now home and it made her feel good. Her feet stood in front of the trash can as her toes wiggled the cold of the floor. She drank the last bit of milk, flattened the carton and threw it in the trashcan.

Yurae was always the first to wake in the household. It was too early for the kids to wake up and the aunties didn't have to wake up until 15 minutes or so before the kids needed to. There was a creak as the wooden door of the kitchen opened up. "Nee-san, are you awake already?" That was her younger sibling, brother would be wrong. They didn't quite share the same blood, they were related in some manner, tad short to be cousins but that was usually how the Temasa clan were.  Hell they could probably have kids with each other and not worry about in-breeding. Regardless they were like family. Not just this one but all the other Charters. Yurae turned to face her younger sibling in the dark, he was somewhere there.

"Yeah. Are you meeting with your team?"
"We've got a job to clear out the scorpions in front of the Academy."
"Ah. Do you have pocket Money?"
"Yeah I've got enough."

The interaction was short as the young Genin left the room to get his gear. Yurae walked silently around the kitchen checking the pantry. There was a box of opened cereal, some uncooked noodles and half a pack of rice. She closed the pantry and checked the smoker, located behind the kitchen through a smaller door. A spell of dry wood and spices crept their way through. There were perhaps 4 or 5 slabs of meet hanging in the air. Burnt black and spiced heavily for preservation. They could have very well frozen the meat but old habits die hard. Electricity was hard to come by when you lived as a nomad and hence all the meat was preserved. Besides smoked meat tasted good. Yurae closed the door to the smoker, sniffing away the last of the spices from her nose.

It would be time to get ready. Her rank as a village Jounin wouldn't change unless she got promoted or demoted. However with the new Kazekage there were things to be changed. For one she was no longer the aide and secretary to the Kazekage. The only jobs she took for the past few weeks were field missions. There were times when the intelligence and interrogation bureau asked for her help but that was on the occasion. Hmm, she guessed she could be a Sensei to newly graduated Genin in preparation for their Chuunin Exams. Yurae slipped out of her Pajamas as she folded neatly away on her made bed. In her light blue underwear she brushed her teeth and washed the sleep away from her face.

What really concerned Shinohara was if the Temasa Clan would have their plot of land taken away from them. The clan never really had any strong roots in Sunagakure and the Kazekage could be pressured into terminating the Temasa clan. Her dark red hair was brushed of its notches and her clothes were already sand free and put on. She put on her Flak Jacket, marking her as a Shinobi of at least Chuunin Rank. Then there was the forehead protect marked with the hourglass of Suna. She put it inside her Flak Jacket away from the scowling eyes. Today, habit would be broken, Shinohara would visit the Office of the Kazekage.

The streets were still dark with only a red blur on the Horizon. Yet people were already moving about on the streets of the village. Shinobi who were returning from the night shift or people moving to relieve shinobi of their night shift. Then were the civilians closing shop or even opening them. It was still bit too early to smell food, besides Yurae already had breakfast. She walked the streets towards the Great Sand Dome. It was a strange building but nonetheless was the Iconic heart of the Shinobi Village. Her feet navigated through a corridor, a few flight of stairs a few more corridors and soon brought Shinohara to the doors of the Kazekage. The receptionist was not at her desk. It was early yes but unscheduled appointment were best done early. Knock knock.

PostSubject: Re: Got Milk? [PvT/Horus/Coal]   Got Milk? [PvT/Horus/Coal] Icon_minitimeMon Oct 26, 2015 4:43 pm

The early morning hours were more familiar to Akemi than sleep was, however so many of them were occupied by getting herself ready for the day.  Where others spent hours honing their skill, training each day to advance their ninja talents, Akemi seemed to spend most of the morning indulging herself in the meticulous care of her body.  Beyond her clothing, beyond the subtle hints of makeup, beyond even the careful wrapping of silken kimono's and straw sandals, surely it was her hair that must have consumed most of her time.  Long, luxurious, it shimmered in the growing morning light and seemed to rival the expensive silk of her kimono in softness and luster.

She was truly beautiful, a stunning youth standing just past the threshold of adulthood.  Her curves told a story that could make some blush, while her eyes whispered promises of conversation and friendship to any who look upon her.  The kimono she'd chosen suited her well, pale yellow colors decorated with quiet greens and morning blues in the shape of small blossoms and leaves forming a soft tracery of detail along the edges and trim of her dress.  Gold, silver, and jade dotted her, earring and necklace, rings and bracelets, all of which seemed to defy categorization as shinobi.  Even her umbrella, a deep red parasol clutched lovingly to her chest with both hands, seemed to lead one away from that immediate assumption.

Instead she held the look of nobility, of poise and easy grace.  She moves like a gentle breeze, light feet barely skating over the ground below in a hushed whisper of straw on stone.  Her head is held high, her shoulders back, and always there seems to be the presence of the same pleased smile.  She wears it while she walks, while she explores, and it does not fade even as she is entering the administration building she'd been summoned too.  She was to meet the kazekage today, and where some might feel nervous or apprehensive, Akemi only felt joy.  She had waited for this day since her genin days, and had failed to meet the previous kage in person.  To the towns people she was simply a novelty, a girl often seen spreading cheer with conversation or simply lingering in the market square, adding soft hints of music to the day on with her shamisen.  To other shinobi, however, she was better known.

Akemi was loyal to a fault, or so it'd been said in previous reports.  She was talented and she was deadly.  How the latter could be true was left unanswered, for the family maintained a strict level of secrecy in regards to the abilities they'd cultivated and perfected.  Yūrei Undō was no child's play thing.  She steps into the receptionist's office without announcement and closes the door quietly behind her.  Her eyes move first to Yorae, alight with friendship matching the smile she offers up.  She gives a small dip of her head and shoulders in a respectful little bow, then allows her eyes to drift elsewhere and survey the surroundings.  She was well used to finery, and the embelishment and details which define the spaces of those in charge only brought her another slight level of comfort.

Noting that Yurae was already lingering near the Kage's door left her the impression that they were already playing the waiting game, so she didn't bother to knock herself.  Instead she refocuses on Yurae and approaches her easily.  “Good morning.” she says with a voice as soft as it is charming.  Her voice is like a spring breeze, neither hot nor cold, seeming to bring with it a sense of life and love, a welcoming warmth that sinks well past the skin.  “My name is Akemi.  I have been summoned to meet lord Kazekage.” she continues in the same soft tones, and offers up another small bow.

Now at a stand still she lowers her arms some, releasing the gentle grip on her parasol and letting the tip fall downwards.  It lands with a soft tap on the ground before her, and both of her hands settle atop to umbrella's handle.  Her hands have a look like they'd never seen work, never seen labor, not once in their days done so much as lift a pen.  Her fingernails were shaped, smoothed, and painted in a shade of soft red not marking her immediately for a woman of the night, but still adding another touch of refinement that seemed to show more care for her appearance, than for any form of combat.  Perhaps she was a genjutsu user, perhaps she was just a medic, or scribe.  Surely she'd never been meant for field work, battles, or the other important duties of a shinobi.

The quite mouse like movement, Yurae might have suspected the receptionist but people told her otherwise. Her attention averted from the door and towards the life forming moving behind her. She turned around and her blue eyes found a delicately poised flower. "ah....." Well she was no receptionist if she was then the new Kazekage had some strange taste in office attire. People could mistake such with a call girl dressed finely and made up like a doll. Shinohara wasn't the one to judge nor did that even cross her mind, not her own at least. She was pretty, even without the makeup you could see she was one of those naturally beautiful. The kind some people would say, 'broke your heart even to look at'. Yes yes, the kind you'd want to force down on the floor the first chance you got. Tear away any hindrance those coy whores wore. No amount of fine silk could change their nature. No, no the silk wasn't some cheap material you could just buy at the market it was different. The thread and the light reflecting was close to a clear hands under water rather than a metallic shine, the material was the genuine deal.  THE UMBRELLA WAS SO BIG! IT WAS BIG ENOUGH TO COVER THE WORLD. yes, the umbrella, the way she carried herself it wasn't for show, it was the way she grew up, trust me I know a fake from real. It doesn't matter once they're planted on their back and left bare they're all the same. Ewwww.. That's typical, no elegance, no love.

"Shinohara Yurae," None of it crossed her mind, not her own at least. Shinohara stood where she was looking at the girl. Hands clean, slender, they would be good on a Samisen or a big fat, She doesn't have a Headband...Yurae quickly scanned her, he was right. "Ah,,, I knocked don't think he's in yet. I'm here to see the Kazekage-sama. I didn't make an appointment so you have to floor." Yurae stepped aside from the door giving clear entrance to Akemi. No headband, Maybe she was a civillian? A daughter of a rich merchant? No no, the silk, the silk. Nobility then. Ahh the Daimyo is supposed to be in town. Well, Yurae had escorted the Daimyo in, there wasn't any girl there. Yurae's eyes scanned the office there were paintings some plants stuff she didn't know the value of. Afterall she came from humble backgrounds. But she's not scared, she accustomed to Shinobi. Yes that is true. None of it really crossed her mind, not her own.

PostSubject: Re: Got Milk? [PvT/Horus/Coal]   Got Milk? [PvT/Horus/Coal] Icon_minitimeTue Oct 27, 2015 2:31 pm

The parasol was not over large, it was standard size in truth; just big enough to cast a constant circle of shadow down upon the nin.  Perhaps it was to blame for her pale skin, or perhaps she simply never left the comfort of home.  It was hard to say. Akemi's head slowly tips to the left as she listens and watches Yurae, but there is no look of judgement or concern on her face.  Instead there is just a look of mild amusement and easy friendship. "I have no intention of rushing lord Kazekage.  I am sure he will fetch us from this waiting room when he is ready to see us.  Besides, I have arrived several minutes before my appointment, so I do not mind waiting.  I've never been here before, so at least it is filling my world with new scenery."

Almost annoyingly positive, her smile doesn't falter at all.  Instead she continues to study Yurae, inspecting her as one might assess their opponent.  From head to toe she took in each detail, each muscle, each weapon, each mark of glory earned in prior engagements, even her head band, or lack there of.  It was a much different look than Akemi held.  In truth, only her belt pouch would stand out for those surveying her for weapons, and even it was mostly hidden beneath the bow in the back of her obi.  Her headband alike was obscured, so she was well used to not being seen as a ninja.  In fact, that small deception was something she prided herself on for giving her an edge in the initial moments of a fight.  Being underestimated was a fine weapon indeed.

"Your name is familiar, I believe I have heard of you.  You are Jounin in our village, one of it's finer warriors?" her head remains slightly tipped, giving her an endlessly curious look.  "And yet you conceal your headband.  Is it hidden beneath your clothes, or do you simply not wear it at all?  I've never found the need to advertise my own alignment to others, it simply puts them on their guard.  Those who are left unsuspecting often fall the fastest.  I suppose I shouldn't be surprised if you do not know who I am.  It is the place for us of lower rank to look up at those above us, and the place for those above us to simply watch the whole village.  I am sure you are endlessly busy, so allow me a more proper introduction."

"I am Otsuki Akemi, of the Yurei Te clan.  We are a small and obscure family, but we have been loyal to Sunagakure for generations.  I was only recently promoted to special jounin, primarily to fulfill the role of body guard, or assassin." she notes quietly, though such words coming from those painted lips seemed far off. "I suppose I am here today so that lord Kazekage may offer me an assignment, or at least assess my talents."

Got Milk? [PvT/Horus/Coal] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Got Milk? [PvT/Horus/Coal]   Got Milk? [PvT/Horus/Coal] Icon_minitimeTue Oct 27, 2015 4:19 pm

There was no rest for the wicked or so the saying goes. The dawn had yet to break while the Kazekage found himself tucked away in his office. His secretary wasn't even aware that he would be at headquarters as early as he was. She deserved time to rest considering it had been particularly hectic around the office. Horus was the Shodai Kazekage, and before he took office, the village council had been in charge of the village. This was the case with other villages also before the Kage competition was held. The hidden sand village was also attacked by a pair of Bijuu, the one and seven tailed Bijuu to be precise. A few good men and women lost their lives on that, and Horus wanted to ensure no such calamity could befall the village again. The Kazekage found himself relaxing back into his chair. His window open wide enough so that he could see the sun rising into the heavens.

The right hand of the shadow within Sunagakure held onto a cup of herbal tea. It was something to calm his spirit as he prod along throughout the day. Being the type of person that he is these days, the Kazekage had his sensory activated. The Kazekage had a melancholy disposition, which may yet boil over into anger, and as a result bringing forth even more rage. Horus couldn't afford this, which is one of the reasons why he was drinking the herbal tea. It was medicinal for the vagabond of a Kazekage. He could feel the morning breeze, brining forth a slight chill over his body. This prompted the man to form a set of hand seals and mould Chakra within. The chakra being of the fire release type. Although, he didn't mould it to create a Jutsu or anything spectacular that could cause harm outwardly or within. Horus instead manipulated his Chakra in such a way as to bring warmth all over his body. This simplistic method can be see as clever no doubt, very inventive. But it was something that came natural to the vagabond, due to his family and their nomadic ways.

It was either the fire trick, or the Kazekage would pee his trousers and hope the warm urine would do the trick. But that would have been a flawed plan, since the warmth of the urine would transform itself into harsh coldness. This he could not risk, besides what can of a grown man would pee in their pants? From where he sat, the Kazekage's mouth was also busy as the man finished up his breakfast. The early morning hours didn't mean a thing, nor did it stop him from having something to eat that early. The guards were also undergoing a change in shift. And while this was taking place, the Kazekage counted the numerous Chakra signatures. Not only was he counting them, but he also had each one memorized. His way of going about it all meant that he could readily decipher an unfamiliar source of Chakra. "The summit is coming up shortly. I wonder if I should take Vaati along? Such an adventure may come far too soon for the boy. I will take the old geezer's advice and have some more suitably skilled Shinobi accompany me. Things could get a little tricky as it all unravels at the summit. But we shall see how it will all turn out. Best not to be caught off guard". The Kazekage thought to himself before releasing a sigh.

Before long the Kazekage could sense an unfamiliar source approaching his direction. The Chakra signature, which turned plural can be categorized as unfamiliar, since their frequency within these parts was often none to non-existent. The two signatures wasn't too far away from each other, but Horus could already make a guess as to where they would end up. That's not to say that things couldn't possibly change, since it was all based on choice. The man was now content with himself, carefully monitoring things within his vicinity. The Chakra signature closest was the one to reach first, which wasn't a surprise at all. The knock on the office door saw the man sighed once again, while looking over his shoulder towards the door. He wasn't yet keen on leaving his seat to entertain anyone. In a short amount of time the other person had arrived on the scene, and the Kazekage could hear the conversation outside the office. A smile was shown to be on his face as he picked himself up from his seat. Horus had heard the voices of women, and it would be rude to keep them waiting. The vagabond of a Kazekage moved swiftly to his door and turned the door knob, while opening the door slightly, before fully revealing himself. The sun rising above the village created a shadow over his doorway, meanwhile slightly obscuring his figure.

Stepping out the shadows, his barefoot was probably the first thing they would behold. His feet were wrapped in bandages, revealing his instep and heels. A long sock like attire was sported over the bandages also. A pair of green trousers was being sported by the Kazekage, with his trouser length being tucked away in his sock like footwear. Over his trousers he wore a green and brown Kimono, with a brown rope playing the role of a sash tied around his waist. The rope was there to keep the kimono in place, although the kimono was left hanging as it wasn't covering his torso. Instead, the bandages wrapped around his torso could be seen, with other tags placed all over his body. None of these tags were of the explosive sorts, but they remained unique to him. His six foot one in tall frame was of a sturdy build. The Kazekage also had some bandages wrapped around his next around, but not tight enough to become a noose. These bandages kept something hidden from view.

The man had long brown spiky unkempt hair that seems to fall just right. His green eyes surveyed the scenery before him, taking note of the two Kunoichi in his presence. The pair of tags on his face also made him into the perfect oxymoron. He was ruff in appearance, and yet he possessed a smooth finish. This was the vagabond Horus, Shodai Kazekage of the hidden sand village. Stepping out of the office fully, the man was holding onto a hat, that was known to him as Niou. He of course carried other weapons, that was currently sealed away on his person. By the looks of things, he wasn't yet ready for work, otherwise he would be sporting his kage robes. Despite all this, he had an audience that needed to be entertained. "Ohaiyo, everyone. I hope I didn't keep ya waiting for too long. I had almost forgotten that I was having visitors today. In any case, I am Horus, also known as the desert vagabond. I hope having heard that ya don't go off thinking I'm unfit to be the Kazekage".   Why was it important for him to announce himself as a vagabond? He was the Kazekage and as such one would think it didn't matter. But the rumours about him being a nobody and suddenly becoming the Kazekage is quite the story.

"So then, what shall we discuss?".

Got Milk? [PvT/Horus/Coal] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Got Milk? [PvT/Horus/Coal]   Got Milk? [PvT/Horus/Coal] Icon_minitimeWed Oct 28, 2015 4:40 pm

The little lady spoke and Yurae was content on just standing there listening to her. She was short, rather she was taller than most woman. The contrast was clear. One the one side was a Lady of Noble like birth, delicate in her own way. Most likely she was versed with the proper etiquette befit her social status. Quaint, small and what something you would call a city girl. Civil (not in the sense of binaries of civil and barbaric), just that Akemi had been around many more people. Back in home corner was something not quite the usual girl or not. There was no sense of nobility about her, really if anything her family were farmer gypsies. Bit rough around the edges, quiet, tall, somewhat on the skinny end. Civil? No, no that wasn't in the dictionary. As she talked Yurae's head slightly tilted to the side as her eyes traced the curve of her body, how the material hugged her body. Hmm. What this her own mind speaking? Sometimes it was hard to tell if it was her thoughts or the 3 rents payers.

Her attention slowly reverted back as she forced herself to look at her face. Yurae's head tilted back smoothly. She, Akemi, smiled a lot, that was different too. It wasn't like Shinohara lived a sad life or had nothing to smile. She simply wasn't a smiling person. Her lips were quite cute, small and rounded. Something you called plum lips. It would look good with a big fat,, Once I tried fizzy drinks for the first time, I thought I was going to die. "Your name is Familiar. I believe I have heard of you." Well this was new. People claim to know her. What did she know about us? Maybe she would look good with her mouth stuffed full. Yurae's crossed arms waved her right hand non-chalant as if she was batting a fly away. It buzzed every now and then and one only need to just tune it out.
Akemi identified Shinohara as a Jounin of the village. Though it was true, being referred to as a 'Finer' warrior made her nose itch. Her hand slowly went up a finger prod out and she gave it one little rub of her noise before it went back into hiding. Warrior she may be she wasn't quite the combative type. She could hold her own but she wasn't someone known to run head first  into a battle. She disliked that part of herself, there was nothing more sexually satisfying than standing in a bloodbath of the weak. No, there was nothing more sexually satisfying than being high. No, there was nothing more sati- Buzz..... Akemi talked a lot and Yurae preferred it that way. She herself didn't talk so much but enjoyed the company of others.  Her eyes ticked left as she sensed another emotion. Such anger, it subsided and eventually it calmed down. So the Kazekage was inside (provided it was him, most likely it would be him).

Yurae skipped the lack of a headband but opened her mouth to speak. Akemi continued to talk and Shinohara closed her mouth and it appeared she was breathing quietly through her mouth. Such a stupid girl you are, no... Yurae-chan is just timid. Neither she simply didn't mind whatever was what. It was rude to interrupt someone anyways. Akemi was a humble girl whether it was genuine or an act she put on was a mystery. Well Yurae could have very much found out by the glance of her eyes but to read someone would be rude and really she didn't mind either way an act or not. When she was done Shinohara opened her mouth.

"Well, I'm still relatively new to Sunagakure. It's my fault if anything for not knowing who you are."

It was true, Shinohara felt somewhat bad that she had yet to identify all the Officers of the Sand Village. If she had taken the time even a simple glance through the profiles and she could have remembered her colleges. But running a family of 8 and a charter worldwide had its demands at times.  The conversation didn't last long as the doors behind her opened. She turned around from looking down and then looking up. What Yurae saw was a man, tall and broad shouldered. He was supposedly the first officially voted in Kazekage. Everyone talked a lot. There were things to be done, it was time to cut to the chase.

"Shinohara Yurae no Temasa Clan. Intelligence officer in the old Regime."

PostSubject: Re: Got Milk? [PvT/Horus/Coal]   Got Milk? [PvT/Horus/Coal] Icon_minitimeThu Oct 29, 2015 1:30 pm

Her countenance brightens as the office door opens and the Kage steps into the reception area. She does not rush herself, but waits her turn as Yurae introduces herself, before finally doing so in turn. She takes a small step closer to the Kazekage, then dips her head and shoulders down low in a respectful bow.

"Good morning my lord Kazekage. I am Otsuki Akemi, of the Yurei Te clan. You may have heard something of our history, and our abilities. We have a long history of raising shinobi for the Land of Wind, and have dedicated ourselves to the preservation of Sunagakure. It is my honor to meet you, and offer you my loyalty and service in whichever way you see fit."

Akemi rises once more and smiles a little brighter, half excited for the future, half thrilled to have met the highest ranking nin around. It was quiet the morning, and the day had only just begun. Who knows what waited ahead, be it mission, research, teaching or simply drinks. Secretly she hoped it was drinks, though that could also wait until after the sun had reached the highest point in the sky. Perhaps sunrise was too early to begin.

"Intelligence officer? She could be of great use to our cause. I do wonder what has she heard about the recent events that took place in the village?". The Kazekage thought to himself as Yurae announced herself to him. The old vagabond would at some point divulge the information to his fellow Shinobi. It was of grave importance that they all understood the current situation. Otherwise the village could be left open for an attack. That would be unforgivable of the Kazekage if he were to allow something like that to happen again. But before he could release any of this sensitive information, he first needed to conclude the introductions. Horus listened to Akemi while a smile emerged on his face, a smile that mirrored the image of his avatar. A few moments later Horus followed up by speaking once more. He was of course addressing both women currently stood in his presence. The vagabond noted the differences in their disposition. This covered attire, body language, and basic etiquette. "I feel blessed to be in the presence of such fine Shinobi. I suppose we can skip the pleasantries and leave those for later". The Kazekage soon turned his back and open the door leading into his office. His work area was tidy, albeit having stacks of scrolls with different bits of information contained within. The office was spacious enough to allow both women to sit down and have a conversation with the Kazekage.

Horus walked into the office but not before lifting his right hand and motion for Yurae and Akemi to accompany him inside. There was tea and some snacks inside, which both Kunoichi could help themselves too. The Kazekage did well to point this out before deciding to take a seat in his chair. Once Akemi and Yurae was settled the man would proceed to explain the current situation bothering him. "Now then its time for business. A bit early, but this is important. I will first start by informing you that this village has now been attacked twice. The first time was before I took over the position as Kazekage. There was a Bijuu attack which claimed many lives. I am sure ya must of heard about this. It was during the competition that was to decide the Shodai Kazekage. The one and seven tailed Bijuu attacked, while seemingly working under the instructions of an unknown persona. I have several Shinobi out hunting this person and gathering intelligence, but thus far nothing concrete yet. This is where ya come in Yurae Shinohara. As an intelligence officer, what can ya tell me about this unknown individual?".

This was very much a test of Yurae's knowledge, since an intelligence officer should know the ins and outs of what has happened. The Kazekage soon continued, now touching on a another topic of discussion. "There was also an incident involving Konoha's Hokage and two other Konoha Shinobi. The trio visited our village recently with arms held out in friendship. The Hokage is Ryujin Senju, Oboro and Akira. To cut the story short, me and the Hokage had a meeting in which we discussed the recent events, since the Bijuu had also attacked Konoha. We even discussed the kage summit that is coming up soon. But after said meeting, the Hokage and his men while under the guise of our guests, killed two of our very own. This has caused some issues as far as our village's relationship is concerned with Konoha. I will say this now, I wish to return the favor to Konoha and the summit will be the best place to confront the Hokage. This is why I will most likely need ya both to play an important role. So please tell me what your best skills are and what you're capable of". It was all a lot to take in, but things needed to be said. The Kazekage needed some of his best soldiers by his side. Since sooner or later, a small isolated incident could cause a war. Especially when a dear friend of the Kazekage was murdered.

My talents are numbered and varied, my lord Kazekage.” she says quietly, bowing once more as she says my lord.  Being formal was high on her list of skills.  She gives a short look to Yurae, curious and silently pondering for a moment.  If she was an intelligence officer, then no doubt the secrets of Akemi's clan would be revealed in time anyway.  She looks back to Horus and continues speaking.  “I am a musician, easy with conversation, and able to put most people off their guard with my formal appearance and noble seeming.  My true skills, however, are centered where they should be.  I am a proficient fighter, able to take on large numbers at once.  My clan, the Yurei Te, have existed in this land for years, and we guard a secret technique we prefer not to let the outside world know about.

My talents lie in the manipulation of objects, be they weapons or not.  From up close, or from considerably ranges, the motion of objects is under my influence.”  For emphasis she lifts her parasol once more, and holds it up in front of her.  She releases it a moment later, but it does not fall.  Instead, with the slight wiggle of a finger, the umbrella opens, then floats over to take position over her head, as if to block her from the sun.  It could seem a little eerie as it just floats there, but Akemi just maintains the same cheerful and friendly smile she always wears.  “I've a number of weapons I use in such a way, windmill shuriken being perfectly suited for my ability.  If you are in need of an assassin, it is something I am skilled at.  And, of course, I am willing to do anything to help protect Suna, and it's reputation.

I prefer, however, that none witness my skills and live to tell about it.  Using them before a large crowd would compromise the secrecy of my clan's sacred jutsu.  If you so order it, however, I will happily obey.

People really liked to talk and Yurae was glad they did. Heavens be blessed or this would be one awkward conversation. It wasn't that she was anti-social or that she was shy or that she lacked the social training. Yurae was simply a quiet person who just didn't talk a lot. The supposed Kage was a tall man and had an impressive body and walked about his office with a confidence that came with ownership of the establishment. There were no doubts in any of the 4 minds that this man was indeed a fraud. The pair followed the man inside his office and soon he started relaying a series of information and questions regarding various topics. For the sake of the topic moving smoothly she kept to herself until everyone had their share.

Ha! Someone cried out yet it was inaudible by everyone present in the room. She has a level of distrust for you. No, it's not quite distrust more of hmm... Caution to the winds. I need to pee. buzzz...It was natural one guessed. So behind the noble girl and her civilian clothing she was indeed a Shinobi. She displayed powers similar to her own and quite frankly it didn't surprise or impress Yurae. She had seen it a hundred times and felt rather curious. Were they perhaps a branch family broken out and watered down like the Yamanaka? Or were they simply a clan with hidden tricks and techniques? it didn't matter if the lady was capable then it was all that mattered.

" An unknown man? "

Shinohara never really had any intelligence on any of that. She had been long out of an intelligence post for a while. Sure she could have kept track of the current behind the scenes but she wasn't a hard worker, she was an effective one. QUite frankly she was more busy digging tunnels to put food on the table. But, it was still a job interview. Well... There no use telling him how the villagers felt, there was the public office for that and hearing the complaints over and over again wouldn't help any. He as the Kage would know better than anyone the different maladies and such.

" Well, Multiple Bijuu showing up at the same time does indicate a co-ordinated and intentional attack. There is no use at grabbing straws for this unknown man. If he is indeed one man instead of an organization. Someone that capable? If he wanted to remain unknown then he'll most likely remain unknown for a longer time."

It was the truth but she was working with limited intelligence. She didn't have a series of sub-ordinates working for her. She worked as the previous person's glorified secretary ( not receptionist mind you). She didn't have power or money backing her. She looked around the room. Well... At the same time someone must have heard of something if this unknown man was going around collecting and enslaving bijuu.

" Last known Jinchuriki, village affiliations. Start there trace forward. It will eventually all point towards the same general direction." It was true that village's kept their Jinchuriki hidden (provided that they kept them) but co-operation in dire times could be possible. Hmm Then there was Konoha, they definitely had motif and their recent actions against Suna didn't help them either. They were a suspect and only being attacked by one Biju rather than two with less causalities. If Konoha had a hand in this they were playing a dangerous game and the master mind was a dangerous person. She voiced none of this however.

"Konoha could be looking for an excuse to start a war. Both sides know full well that Konoha attacked. Anything logical then they would anticipate and prepare for an attack. 1? 2? Shinobi from Konoha and maybe 5 minutes." That was her real specialty. Interrogation. She might not be the best at infiltration or combat but interrogation was what set her apart.

Got Milk? [PvT/Horus/Coal] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Got Milk? [PvT/Horus/Coal]   Got Milk? [PvT/Horus/Coal] Icon_minitimeTue Nov 03, 2015 2:05 pm

Keenly did he listen to Akemi's words as she spoke to have. He was taken in by the fact that Kunoichi was supposedly quite skilled with words, but even more so when it comes to combat. A smile was on the face of the Kazekage as he listened, all the while observing the two of them. He looked at their similarities and differences, something which he did a little earlier also. The old vagabond had no objections adhering to Akemi's request of discretion as far as her abilities are concerned. Horus was exactly the same, since not a lot of people could be certain of his capabilities. He hadn't long since discovered another side to him, and he was curious and excited about exploring this even further. As Akemi finished speaking, Horus directed a nod of approval in her direction. He liked what he had heard, and there was time for the Kazekage to ponder a few things. In the mean time however, he also wanted to hear what Yurae the other Kunoichi had to say. And her time had now arrived, and perhaps not too soon.

The conversation surrounding the unknown individual was problematic for the Kazekage. He couldn't allow for someone like that to roam free, constantly having the upper hand at all times. Horus agreed with Yurae, but more needed to be done to change things in their favor. He simply couldn't allow this unknown persona to lead them like the donkey desperately trying to reach the carrot. "Thank you both for co-operating, although Yurae is keeping her cards close". Horus exclaimed while looking at the two Kunoichi with a devilish grin on his face. The Kazekage seemed easy going, and almost carefree, but he was a living oxymoron, since he was quite diligent and always on the look out. Horus remained a ardent observer, constantly probing for the small signs that often gave away so much about another personality within his presence. "Yurae, on the topic of the unknown person. I have looked into the situation and there hasn't been a Jinchuriki for so long. In fact ya ought to know that the Bijuu haven't had a Jinchuriki for quite a number of years. They roamed free without Shinobi meddling with them and vice versa. This is why its such a huge concern when someone is either controlling them. Or even worse, someone has possibly managed to ally themselves with the Bijuu. If they're allies with this person, that means they have a free will. And with free will comes a hardened conscience that gets buried in the subconscious. At such a time, destroying an entire village, like what happened to Iwagakure, then becomes second nature. I cannot allow this to happen at all".

The Kazekage's words would suggest he felt some responsibility when it comes to protecting his own. And so it ought to be considering he was now considered the Shodai Kazekage of a new era. Horus allowed his words to sink in before glancing over at Yurae and Akemi again. His lips soon parted and words began to roll off his silver tongue. "Even worse, I do not know what Konoha are playing at. But from the conversation I had with the Hokage, he harbors ill intentions, especially towards Kirigakure. The Senju verses the Uchiha is an age old battle, and we know it all too well. As you said Yurae, no point in grabbing at straws. But there is that old saying, the enemy of my enemy is my friend, right? Its such an old proverb, but one that has stood the test of times. In the mean time, I will work on securing two Konoha Shinobi and allow ya to interrogate them. Since I assume that is where your talents lie, no?". It was either overconfidence on Yurae's part, but Horus had picked up on her spirit which lurked within. The time had come for Horus to make a decision regarding the summit. His thoughts soon gathered themselves into one cohesive consciousness.

"Akemi, on the day of me departing for the Kage summit. I will leave you in charge of my affairs. I will also inform the council of this fact, so that everything will run as smooth as possible. My secretary should be of great help during my absence. And as for you and I, Yurae Shinohara. We will go to the summit together, along with another young Shinobi or swordsman rather. The Summit is in two days, so please make the necessary preparations. The village's security needs to be as tight as ever, and ensure the sensory teams and guard duties are doubled. I can have no mishaps. And don't worry, if there is trouble, I am only a few seconds away. Now then, shall we get on with this?". Horus had made some quick decisions, and some of it may come as a surprise to Akemi. On the other hand, this was the Kazekage's way of showing trust, and keeping a close eye on things.

PostSubject: Re: Got Milk? [PvT/Horus/Coal]   Got Milk? [PvT/Horus/Coal] Icon_minitimeWed Nov 04, 2015 4:09 pm

She did her best to not let the surprise register on her face, however some hints of it showed through. Her eyebrows perk a little, her head tips slightly to the side, but otherwise she maintains the same air of cheerful professionalism she had entered with. "Oh. Goodness. As you wish, my lord Kazekage, I will do all I can to ensure that the village runs smoothly in your absence." Akemi bows once more once she's done talking, both as a sign of respect and as acknowledgement of her task. This was more than she had expected, to be sure. After a moment she speaks up once more. "This is a huge honor, thank you my lord."

Akemi goes quiet, the light in her eyes dimming for a moment, the cheerful facade fading only a little as she sets her mind to thinking. More than an honor, this was quite the task. She'd have a lot she needed to get done, a lot to be caught up on, a lot to plan for should things turn south. There'd be missions to assign, troops to assess, defenses to strengthen. She was about to have the most stressful job in the village, and only a small portion of the power that it usually brought. Even without the powers of a kage, however, she had no doubt in her mind that this little appointment would look fantastic on her resume for years to come.

For once Akemi was close to speechless. Suddenly her shoulders felt heavy and her mind was simply over filled with the different details she'd need to tend too, and the different people she would need to speak with. There was so much she'd need to be caught up on, no doubt hours of her future would be spent in meetings. She had two days to prepare herself, and then a large village with countless citizens to secure. If the future did turn violent, she might even be in charge of the city's defense until the kage could return. If that was the case, she would have to show off her secret jutsu. Perhaps even put it to full and devastating use. The prospect of that once more lights her face with a pleased smile.

PostSubject: Re: Got Milk? [PvT/Horus/Coal]   Got Milk? [PvT/Horus/Coal] Icon_minitimeWed Nov 04, 2015 4:29 pm

No Jinchuriki for several years. In her mind Shinohara did the tedious maths and calculations for probability. The buzzing in her mind faded out as her brain activity submerged their squabbles. What did she know about Biju? Tailed beasts great power. Not relevant. Jinchuriki? none for years. New articles, reports of hidden movements. Her face had a mask of boredom. It was only an outward appearance, although sometimes she found the whole ordeal tiresome at times but it was what let her individuality swim on top the sea of madness. Her mind picked out key words from articles and reports she had come across in age old years in office. No results. Rumours? wives tales None. Well. Rampaging beasts but with no rampage?

Co-ordinated attacks then a sudden disappearance. So there was no doubt behind an entity that had controlled or allied with these bijuu. They were either one, hiding well inside the deepest corners of the world, two hiding in mass in the most uninhabited area of the world or three they were hiding in plane sight with the Jinchuriki record gone. Two things were true, that the tailed beasts were working together and that there was an entity at play here.

"Iwagakure was destroyed? completely off the map? Has anyone been there to confirm it?"
It was a possibility that needed only to be tested but for now, until she had proper people working under her it would only be a speculation. She was to follow the Kazekage to summit, it was easy enough. Akemi was assigned to watch over the village, a chance to sit in the Kage's chair while he was away. She seemed to be delighted but the pacing of her heart said other wise. She considered re-assuring the girl that the village wouldn't suddenly erupt into chaos in the Kage's absence. In truth the village had run on a pseduo leadership for many generations. Really the village was run by a well formulated back bone structure built on money, politics, blood and some brains (in that order). However her voices returned and really Shinohara didn't really care about it. Akemi was a smart girl she assumed, from a influential house and all she'd be fine.

"I'm sure you will do me proud Akemi. In the mean time Yurae Shinohara, the destruction of Iwagakure was confirmed a while back. I'm quite surprised no one made you aware of this. In fact, the rumors alone should be more than enough to alert you to this. Be that as it may though, I wish to visit Iwagakure after the summit. The way I see it, if the Bijuu are being manipulated to form an alliance. Then it is best if I remove them from said influence. If they're sealed away, then using them as weapons against us becomes all the more difficult. And should we succeed in doing this, then I expect the unknown persona to reveal themselves to us. That is the idea anyway. Now that we're aware of each other's roles, let us conclude this meeting once and for all. It was nice meeting ya both. But the time for our preparations have drawn even closer". The Kazekage picked himself up and walked towards his window that was currently open at this point. The sunlight came shining in and the morning air felt so refreshing. The Kazekage was in the mood to make it rain over the village, but thought it might be too soon to do so. The citizens of Sunagakure wasn't yet use to the miracle that was rain over the desert. The Kazekage looked over his shoulders at Akemi and Yurae with a reassuring smile on his face. "I like watching the sun rising over these lands. And I intend on continuing to do so. But that can only be with your support. Dismissed". The meeting was now over however brief it was. Both Kunoichi had tasks that were given onto them, and these tasks needed to be carried out to perfection. And should there be nothing else of importance, the Kazekage would take his leave and carry out his morning rounds.

Akemi smiles and gives another small bow once the Kage had dismissed them. "Thank you lord Kazekage. We will not let you down." She says, before turning on her heel and departing. She had things to do, and many things to think about. Lingering over long now would only waste her time. She too liked to watch the sun rise, but rarely did she do it from within the confines of a building. She lifts her parasol and clutches it against her chest as she goes, excusing herself and either holding the door for Yurae if she was right behind, or simply closing it behind her as she left.

Things were easy enough. Yurae prepared herself some seals before she left making 4 Temashik Saweon bujeok on small scrolls before she left. She tucked them away in her body. She fetched her sword and gauntlets from home before following the kazekage to wherever he needed to go.
