His frustration is somewhat valid. Often missions are the most stressful and rigorous situations a shinobi is put through. Limiting the sharingan training to solely training threads is quite narrow-minded. By limiting one's ability to learn and grow stronging within a mission, limits the alternative methods for growing more in a personal way with character development. Essentially, what you insinuate is that missions are nothing more than a means of ranking up. If an Uchiha cannot awaken their sharingan on a mission, that prevents them from progressively developing their character except with the sole purpose of fabricating a filler training thread where they force themselves to awaken that potential.

Why not make a topic that details u going on a mission but u just don't actually claim the mission reward .-.

Or just do extra word count during the mission so you can claim both? It's just a word count. If you're willingly on a creative writing site, don't complain about a demand of writing.

I never, ever said he can't do both at once. I said the wc must be split, he can't use wc from mission for wc for the sharingan training. Simply make the mission longer and use extra wc you wrote for the mission. I told him "separate" the wc's, not "can't do a sharingan training on a mission topic"
